Seems my punctuation and grammar is a tad ahead of your comprehension skills, so don't be so pompous.
I hoped the real information I described would be of interest to those with at least some grasp of how commercial property transactions are structured; I clearly over-estimated the capacity of part of the potential audience in this regard however.
No wonder TVR have ceased communicating
Not sure there is actually that much interest in what is happening with the site, no one really gives a s**t anymore. The project is dead. Even if by some magic the factory appears, the car is now old hat, the design not good enough, and any remaining depositors disillusioned (I mean I understand TVR ignoring us lot on here, but you can't p!$$ off the people who have shown interest in your product by providing them with no info)I hoped the real information I described would be of interest to those with at least some grasp of how commercial property transactions are structured; I clearly over-estimated the capacity of part of the potential audience in this regard however.

Unless the new factory comes with a new car, its game over - and has been for a while

Here's an innocent 'I know nothing' remark.
How many other so-called wonder machines has Gordon Murray designed which subsequently disappeared quietly without going on sale ? What has happened to his city car design, for instance ?
Guess GMD has only done the engineering on a contract-basis, they are, to the best of my knowledge, not involved in the business side of the venture. So GMD is not to blame. How many other so-called wonder machines has Gordon Murray designed which subsequently disappeared quietly without going on sale ? There were a few announcements from GMD though, not sure how they materialized. Very quiet on the lightweight small-car front, that was announced a while ago.

I think what you have tried to say, with an appalling lack of punctuation and grammar, is that part of the proposed TVR factory site in Wales has applied for planning permission for something?
Is that what you have said?
If so, that still doesn't equate to NewCo building anything at all soon. And I believe they were going to need the whole site for 2500 cars a year, not part of it.

But in fairness to GMD, the T25 was never meant for production; it was a technology demonstrator / calling card to say "hey, I'm here, I'm open for business, this is some of the radical thinking my team are capable of." If the accounts of the business are anything to go by, it has been a wildly successful strategy
Like most engineering consultancies, the chances are poor that we'll ever learn the full extent of the work done by GMD - brands like to cast the limelight on themselves even if they've outsourced the engineering...

I've said many times, I'd snap up a T25 if it were offered for sale. If I won the lottery I might even ask GMD to make me one.

Yep. Last i time i checked they had about 50+ people, were doing just over 8 figures turnover for a while already and profitable. So someone IS paying them for what they do and that's what most businesses are about But in fairness to GMD, the T25 was never meant for production; it was a technology demonstrator / calling card to say "hey, I'm here, I'm open for business, this is some of the radical thinking my team are capable of." By what function of cognition, apart from fantasy, 'planning' got inferred from my post, I'm afraid I am not qualified to say.
One thing is for sure, when the same source as revealed Welsh Ministers are now about to complete a purchase of property they had no previous ability to refurbish or lease confirms what has been transferred (and subject to what 3rd party interests), which it will presently, I will stay schtum.
Hope that's coherent enough

More embarrassingly this Pupp chap seems to post in the “show us your Brompton” thread. I was a trifle scared to open the link, concerned Brompton was some kind of euphemism for a spam bayonet
Turns out it’s a tiny folding bike that the worlds most boring people use as a mode of transport.

And, inevitably, the third amigo joins to make it a circle jerk. Who will end up with the spunky biscuit? More embarrassingly this Pupp chap seems to post in the “show us your Brompton” thread. I was a trifle scared to open the link, concerned Brompton was some kind of euphemism for a spam bayonet

There are other transport options available in addition to my Brommie sunshine
Ahh, it's turned into a condescending willy waving competition.
Pupp, give it up mate. This isn't the thread for you. This thread is a speculative thread about NewCo not building a car factory.
We are not interested in your fold up overpriced bike, or your attempts to make an asthmatic Buick V8 from the 1950s go faster.

Well, yes. Because I run a company. Employing people and everything!
It is a term that has widely been used on this and the previous thread to distinguish between the company in Blackpool (OldCo for the avoidance of doubt) and the company that isn't saying anything or building cars in Wales.
