Yeah people are pretty sensitive round here, a nice cup of lighten up.
I’ve worked in teams where it’s tradition to say “morning fkers” first thing or “good morning ladies” to a team of men I think some people here would burst into tears lol
I'm guessing you're an office worker I’ve worked in teams where it’s tradition to say “morning fkers” first thing or “good morning ladies” to a team of men I think some people here would burst into tears lol
Correct Chili Jeez I can remember one Friday afternoon having what felt like a million small balls of warmed up blue tack dropped on my head whilst sat concentrating at my desk... then going to the hairdressers a couple of weeks later and him saying “did you know there’s a lot of blue tack in your hair”.. “of course” I say, “just chop it out”
Or before aerron miller chairs we’d pour two litres of water on the cushion of one chaps chair, so when he came n the next day and dumped himself down on it he got a wet ass
Now days you don’t get so much of this traditional behaviour as some jobs worth started classifying it as bullying
Now if this was a discussion of plastigaging bearing clearance then that would be inappropriate to wheel out the arch bishop of banterbury
So embrace Internet forums and this type of thread for what they are. Light hearted and a time filler. Lets face it, love or loathe the new design of the car, you still want to see what it can do round dunsfold.
Now where’s that conveyancing chap and his folding girls bike

Thats really rather clever and seems very accurate.
I just put in my base figures of 1110kgs as I’m lean and mean and 310 bhp at the wheels which is as close a guess using de Catt Y as I can get as it was dyno’d at 300 bhp catted, this was using Powers Performance rolling road and using the usual calculation to get rear wheel figures
Comes out as
1/4 time 12.58 I did 12.60
Terminal speed 112 I did 110
So Dom’s dyno is bang on the numbers, ain’t that a turn up for the books
Bog standard 4.6 rebuilt by Powers
And yeah mines faster than many a damn good Cerb up the drag strip as it’s wheel base ain’t like a limo
Good job otherwise I’d be buggered.
A good Tuscan used to run 11’s all day so the powers clearly there if you can hook the stuff up on the later engined cars.
Really rather good for a 50 year old design and in our Rv8 a piece of iconic British motoring history.
Hey up 30 mpg through France at 80 mph too, right old crap ain’t they

and you know drag strips on similar cars are all about the launch.
On the road I've never met a slow TVR, no matter what model...

Someone pass these willy wavers a Kleenex.
Nobody (apart from each of you) really cares how fast your Chimaera goes.
For me, my Chimaera was a thing of beauty that woofled along keeping up with every day traffic.
And for many others our cars of things of speed, excitement, all night spannering and yes a good amount of pub talk.Nobody (apart from each of you) really cares how fast your Chimaera goes.

Many on the forum who feel this way love the upgrades, talk of more power and the camaraderie that it produces.
Anyhow enough of that. All we need to know is that my car is the fastest n/a chimaera.
Now where is my zip?

Firstly I trust the figures from Dom’s dyno and secondly and more importantly cars off the road and you know drag strips on similar cars are all about the launch.

I’ve also returned it to a catted exhaust as my ears can’t take the brutal V8 roar
I’ve often said drag times seem to play out very closely matched to their cars figures if you discount poor start technique.
If you master the starts the numbers seem to be very close.

Another 10 posts to reach 2,000 and that's in volume 2. Les can show this to his potential investors to show how much interest he has in the new car.
Yes, but virtually every post on this thread is about another make of car.....Ooh cock waving Can I join in please?
Weirdest choice of cars for a drag race, but it has a Griff doing its thing...and a Jeep. I’ll just leave this here...

Any updates about how the builders are getting on?
I don't know about the builders but TVR Automotive's (dormant company) confirmation date was 1st October which they have missed but they do have until today - 15th - to comply. They seem to be missing quite a lot at the moment......N7GTX said:
