Pello Capital announced yesterday that they are working with TVR.
There was also a new Ceo by the name of Jim Berriman started this month. Probably a condition of investment. He seems to have a lot of automotive experience judging by his LinkedIn.
Tvrs last chance probably. Wait for an overly whimsical update.

We'll know if Pello broker the investment when we see a JCB going through the gates at Techboard. TVR will post pics instantly.Pello Capital announced yesterday that they are working with TVR.

What's a Trackhawk?
Hot-rod 710hp motor with beefed up transmission in a Jeep Grand Cherokee...with 4wd and traction control - which can be turned off
I bought mine when I got bored/pissed off waiting on the new TVR. I’ve used it so much more than I would have done with any other ‘spots car’ - shopping, trips to the top, daily driver etc. I demonstrated the launch control to the missus on the way back from Tesco and with her and the full weekly shopping in the back the on-board timer said 0-60 in 3.2 seconds.
Even IF TVR can find the funding AND can overcome the technical issues of meeting the various rules and regs that are coming into play I would love to know where they are going to get the people with the skill sets required.
Having moved to South Wales 4 years ago it's clear that the likelihood of finding such skilled local people is slim and even less likely that, even if such people exist outside of South Wales, that they could be enticed to move close to Ebbw Vale.
Much as I would like to see TVR's rebirth and had been hopeful some time ago, I seriously doubt it will ever produce more than a handful of (prototype) cars, if any.
Not that I would be likely to be able to afford one even if they could produce them.

They have a small operation trying to raise capital, not Goldman’s or Merrills
If Pello do this in the current climate they’ll be doing well.
They’ve rustled up that 3 mil locally so far,
But realistically that’s a drop in the ocean
This may (or may not owning to the swinging target that is new TVR) just align with some of the key messages that came from the last update. If Pello do this in the current climate they’ll be doing well.

Pello are an indi lead runner for investment, so let's see where this chicanery goes....

TVR have 'onboarded' a CEO...
LinkedIn is your friend.....
Well spotted. Jim Berriman. Has a relatively corporate background eg JLR and Rolls albeit not in particularly senior positions. So am not sure what he brings to the party - maybe he doesn’t want paying much? TVR have 'onboarded' a CEO...

I notice that Patrick Buckland is listed as a shareholder of TVR on linked in.

Then Swansea Uni have been running Automotive design courses for several years https://www.uwtsd.ac.uk/ba-automotive-design/
including research into alternative ways of production

There's plenty of people, and as previously mentioned Ebbw Vale had a huge amount of EU money pumped into the local infrastructure, roads, train station, leisure center, technical college, schools etc. It could be an attractive place to live
Then grants from the Welsh Govt.

Agreed. I think getting the technicals together on the car is more of a priority and that’s where the skills come in. Training a few very keen bright lads to understand the car from there via a donor car and college related course is not beyond the Welsh. My dad went to a tiny Tech college at 15 in the Valleys, learnt electronic engineering and worked on projects all around the world,, this was in the early 1950’s.
