WTF?!
"Such is the clamour to own one of the new cars, all 500 of the launch edition cars have been pre-sold, with deposits paid." Really...
What - a Planning Application now?? https://businessnewswales.com/plans-submitted-for-...

Cue 'oh we have a delay of 3 months due to those pesky planners.....'

"Things are progressing with the factory and training units albeit (again!) more slowly than hoped and expected, BUT we can now give you the time line for completion of the works on the refurbishment. We have had confirmation from the Welsh Government that the refurbishment contract (following the recent completion of the 7-month tender process required by the EU) is expected to be awarded to the successful candidate in the coming weeks in readiness for a January 2019 start on site. The refurbishment of the landlord’s ‘shell’ should take approximately 6 months to complete, which will be dovetailed in with our fit-out works. We will be providing updates on progress, including pictures and video, on a regular basis as the works progress.
Additionally, the works to complete the smaller training, test and prototype build facility are well under way, and Blaenau Gwent local council have now given us a completion / handover date for this facility of March 2019. It remains an option to complete customer builds in this facility should there be any delays to the main factory programme, although we have no reason to believe that that should prove to be the case."
A planning application is just that, an application. It is not a guarantee that any work will actually take place. The Welsh Government will not spend £5m on the 'shell' if TVR do not have the necessary funding to produce cars. And in little over a year TVR must repay the government loan as well.

Do you have design students that might sort the front out for free?
Maybe they’re going to abandon it in the car park.
Can't say I'm a fan of the front either. It's been trailered in with a lovely RR. I found out it was a TVR by googling the plate of the range, to which the only result was a photo from this thread in which it appears in the background. Google is a wonderful thing. Maybe they’re going to abandon it in the car park.
I'll do some investigating and see what I can find out, I suspect its for our lean and agile manufacturing department and unfortunately not the automotive/motorsport department.
