It’s being hauled around so that they can avoid the brand impacts should it break down.

I still think it looks cracking. It’s a great rear view.

Me too, with the drop down door with understated ramp up to a symmetrical portal.

I agree, looks especially good in white. Shame about the ugly red car and the slightly crazed looking old guy spoiling the view.

Does anyone know if the submitted plans are visible online?
I'm interested to see if details like factory internals can be inferred from the layout (though this sort of thing probably doesn't need planning permission). Would be nice if TVR has a plan now for its projected scale/throughput of the production line etc.

..or is achieving planning permission just a tick in the box to strengthen their next round of pitches to much needed investors?

Unfortunately, they're not. The relevant planning authority is one of a few Welsh councils that does not publish its planning register on-line. The application is in the public domain once validated and registered but will need a physical trip to the council offices to view.

There's transparency boyo...!

I would suggest very much this and nothing more.

Yep, and it takes them a couple of weeks to list them on the 'recent planning applications' list. This is the latest and is week 7 (17th Feb)

Interesting how the article starts with

Plans for TVR to produce its new 200mph Griffith Supercar in Ebbw Vale have moved a step closer

Ok there isn't a problem if people are buying them for screaming around racing circuits

There is a massive problem that in the very near future UK cars will be fitted with speed limiters to prevents drivers breaking speed limits

Mentioning a vehicles top speed in the first sentence of that article is nothing but..................
Irrelevant tbh - limiters are easily fooled and easily removed - theyre not even a consideration.
