Naff
Hate brand names on clothing
Look at me, look at me
You don't own anything with a brand name on then? Adidas, Nike, M&S, Trespass, Berghaus...... etc. I guess you mean "massive labeled brand names on clothing"? Hate brand names on clothing
Look at me, look at me
Headed over to my wardrobe shortly to check it out, will post back later
I tend to buy clothes without logos ie shirts, T-shirt’s, jumpers etc . I don’t wear trainers or baseball caps or hoodies. Some of my cycling gear has logos on it, as do jeans, cars, bicycles..... you can’t totally avoid it. Buying car manufacturer branded clothing is a strange one ie they aren’t a clothes brand but are using clothing to make some money and make people look foolish.
Mmmm, we all get things wrong at times
Just found a T shirt with Nike on, it's a shirt that's only worn for knocking about the house or working in, definitely not a Nike shirt though as it was bought from a market new for 3 Euro, the Nike transfer is part worn off yet I can't scrape the rest of it off with a knife, perhaps it's best to find a Debbie Harry iron-on transfer to cover the evil

The reasons why anyone would intentionally spend their hard earned on such trash is a good subject for discussionPenelope Stopit said:

Surely you need to put an extra sticker on saying "this is a knock off" to ensure no one really cares what you're wearing? ;-)Just found a T shirt with Nike on, it's a shirt that's only worn for knocking about the house or working in, definitely not a Nike shirt though as it was bought from a market new for 3 Euro, the Nike transfer is part worn off yet I can't scrape the rest of it off with a knife, perhaps it's best to find a Debbie Harry iron-on transfer to cover the evil

Not sure about it being "hard earned" cash that 17 year old sons spend their money on....... I have tried explaining that the mega pricey Nike (or any other brand) trainers made in China/Thailand/Indonesia/wherever are simply rubber and plastic costing peanuts and generally no better than anything miles cheaper to buy.... cirks said:

I know it’s a few days early but thought I’d get the ball rolling... so, I wanted to wish all of you lot who’ve stuck with this (now) ridiculous lost cause (fingers still crossed though) thread a great Christmas. That said, feck Christmas, I’d rather you had a miserable Christmas but were still here next year and beyond to continue our often meaningless and obscure ramblings.. despite often being wildly off topic I’ve enjoyed all the exchanges, and although many of us have never met, you are (get the tissues out) like a good bunch of mates. Clearly there are a few exceptions to this, but, this is the season of goodwill to all men and accordingly we won’t be mentioning names. Yet.
So, have a great festive season everyone, drink lots, but above all be safe....
Richard
