Looks like Les is keeping himself busy while we wait for the updates. You'd think he would be mega busy trying to launch the new car but always seems to have time for other pastimes along with a hotel and golf course.

Wonder what this company is all about then? confused

Oh, I know, its for helicopter servicing........

Nature of business:

96090 - Other service activities not elsewhere classified

...classic vague company activities to enable all sorts of things to be invoiced/offset...

Keep up at the back. I reported this on April 30th.

@ V6Pushfit - yep, that's where I got the idea of helicopter servicingidea

@Unrep - oh yes, I did see your post. No harm in bouncing it though. bounce

On top of the car manufacturing, the golf course and the hotel forgot to mention his farm. The poor chap's obviously far too busy to put out updates.

A couple of the many unanswered comments on FB:

They did get around to posting congratulations to G Murray for his honour, but sadly nothing more.

The fact the Gordon Murray CBE post came a week after the event, pretty much indicates TVR is a sideline for those involved. It’s starting to look like best endeavours stuff.

If there was really anything to say they’d flood out the doubting posts for pics of progress and activity going on.

er, how can the CEO of a car company "not know" when the production of his only car will start?

Ok, he might not be exactly clear when it will start, but surely there is some sort of plan, with at the very least, so estimated dates penciled in to allow the process planers to, er, process plan?

I can see how your misunderstand came about. He's CEO of a sponsorship business, a pitch-up with a stand at selected events business, offer helicopter rides business and maybe even a design-a-car business (although that was contracted out); but a car business it's not. A car business might....well, you know...make cars....

But didn't TVR win at Le Man last year...it says they did on their website...so to win...for TVR to win it must be their car...so they have built a car ....no?

Well I think we’ve really hit a period of stall here.

In reflection this is a shame. There was opportunity here to resurrect a brand which generated various emotions, but importantly excitement.

I can remember as a teen in the late 90’s driving around with my dad and saying “quick look, Cerbera”. A couple of years later in the early naughties on the way back from university it was “quick check it out a Tuscan”.

They looked great and sounded unique. It was The uks young Ferrari. They’re the antithesis of the new car. Which looks hum drum and in person sounds like a rowdy flock of pigeons, where they’ve separated the exhaust on a big standard cross plane engine.

They needed to do something to regenerate that excitement but as of now it’s not this incarnation of TVR. Maybe they’d be better of selling.

Like it or loathe it if you stuck a TVR badge on the new Ginetta akula it’d look like a TVR. You could stick a Ginetta badge on the new TVR and believe it was the latest Ginetta. There’s something wrong there.
