She is subtly telling you she wants a tacky, flash, loud, cheap American.

You're too reserved and, frankly boring. hehe

Is that the royal ‘we’ Audi boy?
smile
No that’s the universe.

Audi boy. That V10 is probably one of the best sounding engines out there and still going.

I’m afraid that old ford hot hatch is a bit to common and slow for me hehe

Bloody commoners didn't pay attention in class in their comprehensives. Far too interested in the bike sheds. hehe

Would be a good line if the vantage was new not 2006, and in east anglia. hehe

I Gave it some thought looking over my paddock in Sevenoaks, from my back garden. Yes... no council here. No Webbed anglia feet. in the end I felt sorry for you. hehe

Do you want to gilly my next fishing trip on the broads.

You could maybe have made something of ghillie (or gillie) mid-spelled as gilly? Anyone posh enough to have actually used the services of a ghillie would know the correct spelling. HTH.

I run out of interest correcting the iPhone. Guide or gillie is the only way to fish the broads.

So, after 50 odd years, Jaguar are no longer fitting dirty diesels or even polluting petrols in their XJ. The West Bromwich factory is being shut for 6 weeks to allow the change over for electron power.
This is a worry for TVR. By the time the car is launched it will be seen as a dinosaur by The Greens and we all know what happened to them - the dinosaurs that is. It reminds me of the oil crisis in the 70's when small cars suddenly became popular again. And gas guzzlers disappeared. As time moves ever forward with no sign of a production car any time soon, I think the future is definitely not orange.

It's OK, when the TVR Griff finally comes out in 2035, Les could just drop an electric motor in it, no need for these silly gas guzzling V8's.

Don't panic.

Was at the FOS today. It was a grim day for petrol heads. That Volkswagen IDR electric contraption broke the hill record.

I think the future is arriving now. Hopefully low milers like me who drive once or twice a week will be left alone.

No chance. No one is fighting your corner. No one cares who has any ear. The age of the petrolhead has gone; sadly. Without a whimper.

For a proper man what possible interest is there in an electric motor in an engine bay FFS?

And as regards leaving IC cars alone ..... if only !

I think you’re probably right. People are going to need to strategically vote in a series of “boris’s”, the types who move in circles of car collectors.

As soon as some liberal left lunatic like Corbyn gets in, things will get dicey.

You still see those re-enactment groups driving old buses or some coal powered steam thing or a WW2 vehicle every now and then. The driver possibly all covered in soot, people don’t seem to mind that, maybe TVR (and other big engine cars) will be viewed fondly?

Sure most people will be in electric autonomous pods but you might be allowed your V8 on a B road or at some event on a summer bank holiday still.
