Next RR will tow and be BEV.
The land rover dealer we use has sent a mail saying “save the date, something exciting is happening”.. which they can’t tell us about yet. Will that likely be the Discovery sport PHEV? More likely Defender reveal I would think.

"An amazing display of performance, skill, quality and leadership and firmly casting TVR Racing as being focused on returning to the track."A year on and TVR Racing is still a dormant company with £1 at the bank. Presumably TVR Manufacturing paid for the stickers then.

Still no news, so limited guilt continuing with the thread hijack with news from ‘the other side’ ie spending the saved TVR money on something else instead.
The Jeep passed 500 miles so the launch control became enabled. First and only attempt so far (with a passenger too) was 0-60 in 3.3. If the TVR ever sees the light of day in sure it’ll be properly fast, but probably not as laugh-out-loud ludicrous as the Jeep. Yes, I’d rather have had the TVR, but right now I’m having fun on 4 wheels again.

Do they give you a back to back limit of laUnches before your warranty is void, or is it anything goes. The Jeep passed 500 miles so the launch control became enabled. I’ve never considered a jeep but that is quite cool.
No limit. And it’s quite refreshing in the manual that there’s an expectation you’ll take this thing on track. Manual only says to avoid tracks for the first 1500 miles. The on board computer thingy also has 0-100 timers plus drive modes including ‘track’ and you can create custom modes including setting rear wheel bias and turning the traction control off. Haven’t tried that yet, but it sounds a hoot. There’s also programmable cool down routines including a rapid cool after track use. .....in a fairly nondescript SUV. Yup it’s a heavy beast but a laugh-a-minute when you put the throttle down and an aural feast. Almost unbelievable something like this is a) manufactured and b) allowed.

You put that there didn’t you
If only they had one of the Italian design houses do the Griffith like de tomaso used.
Interesting idea although at this point in time it wouldn’t make any difference if Leonardo Da Vinci himself had designed it as it’s all become sadly academic. If only they had one of the Italian design houses do the Griffith like de tomaso used.

Indeed, it will be 3 years ago at the Revival in September...
A different world then - IC was still a good prospect, TVR was being reborn and there were optimistic staff and updates..The company that happens to be called TVR are looking like it will just quietly fade away into a bolivian
