Quick release hinge.

I need some new bonnet hinges, I would like quick release ones. Anyone know who might be making them. I have seen the stainless steel ones, but are the company still in business?

Peter Essling is definitely making stuff regularly - my stainless steel pedals were made by him.
He makes loads of other stuff too.

Yes, Peter, I believe so. I've bought some Cerbera ones from him so I know he does those, but I think that he makes Chimera ones too.

I bought a pair of hinges from Verpoorten for my Chimaera about 6 months ago. I haven’t fitted them yet, as I’m going to need a couple of helpers to make sure my recently resprayed bonnet doesn’t get scratched whilst I do the swap and fiddle about with the fit, but they do look nice.

Just looking at your post on the quick release hinges you have fitted to your cerb, i have just spent 1/2 a day working out why my bonnet has been rubbing on the inner wings and it all points to the hinges that have been very poorly refitted after my new paint job thus causing some excess movement and damage the bodyshop now have to address!.
i would love to upgrade to some hinges like your ones, did you machine these yourself or available elsewhere?
