Warwick Mini meet

The Leopard is on Oakley Wood Road.
If you coming from Warwick take Harbury Lane off the big roundabout with Damon Hill BMW on. Then turn right at the crossroads into Oakley Wood Road.
Alternatively take Tachbrook Road from the crossroads at Leamington Station. Tachbrook Road turns into Oakley Wood Road after a couple of miles.

Good meeting everyone who came, i hope everyone got home alright. Did you find the way to Daventry in the end, Rudegirl? Unfortuneatly i did'nt...
About 5 minutes after i left Rudegirl the Tuscan caught fire!!! Can you belive it, i went up the Parade(leamington) and the battery voltage went down to 8 Volts, so i turned back round to go to Halforde for a new battery, got half way down opposite B.K. and the engine stalled. Shit, i thought, so i called up the AA but no one would help me as the car is not covered. Phoned up kings, and they said try and bump start it and get it over there, so i got a few guys that were willing to help me bump it and got it started. Drove towards Kings, about two munutes later it was making some crackling noises and then it was flaming thro' the exhuasts and smoke was belowing out from the engine bay. i've only just got back now.
Anyway it was a good meet and nice to put some more faces with names. Cheers, Chris.

Can't believe how cheerful you sound, that's really gut-wrenching news.
I thought we turned some heads going through Leamington, but didn't realise it was because you were throwing flames (must check the front of my car for flame damage). Are you still going to the Motor Show on Tuesday? (that was you, wasn't it?. If so, mail me privately and I'll mail you my mobile number, we can meet up for a coffee.
I got back about 10.30 tonight - went for a play and found myself a couple of miles from a friend's house, so invited myself for supper and a few lemonades.
I had a great time - really nice people and a good gossip. Thanks to all, and particularly to Ocean (or should we call you Mr Rude?????) for getting the ball rolling. Hope to see you all again.

Looks like I missed a good do. Only got the car back at 15:00 on Saturday and I didn't want to come along in the mondeo. Anyway he's back so I went for a Billy no mates drive round just to cheer myself up. It worked!!
As the mini meet was such a success I look forward to the next one.
