I suppose eventually, (probably not too far into the future) they will take away the flappy paddles, (or some sort of manual override) and leave it entirely up to the ECU.

I hope that society as a whole, (mainly the politicians) will realise that pushing electric cars is a waste of time.

Apparently worldwide emissions that cause World problems for all forms of transport including aircraft, ships, trains, lorries and cars et cetera, et cetera amount to only 13%. The biggest polluter is not surprisingly industry at about 43% closely followed by agriculture at 37%.

Our current use of EV’s which are charged up from mainly fossil fuels worldwide make fk all difference. When most of the world runs on renewables then maybe.

Until that time I will not feel guilty running my 4.6 rangy, 3.4 Porsche and Track Day Skoda.

Those percentages BTW are from my memory which as people who know me is not reliable and selective! wink

EVs for commuting, hydrogen for commercial vehicles, synthetic fuels for hobbyists.

Come back in 15 years go see how wrong I’ve been!

Was just wondering how much longer the Norfolk greenhouse will take to complete. scratchchin

Probably going to be in sync with the first car to come out of the TVR factory (if they ever sign the lease) so likely 2024 then. whistle

Not at all. When pushing them, the motor acts as a dynamo, so you actually charge the battery by doing so!

Wasn't it going to be five new cars in five years?

Oh no, that was Dany Bahar and Swizz Beats (Mr Alicia Keys) back in 2010.

Not if you push them the wrong way

Incorrect battery polarity would be the end result

TVR Finance accounts posted today. The bonds have raised £447,900 otherwise no change from the previous year. Not very exciting sleep

Had over 50 Airfix/Revell kits but never had a Jet Provost. It wasn't fast enough to sit alongside Frigthening Lightnings and Fantoooms. smile
