Viper201 you have my sympathy, you really up against

Additionally the moving away option even if you wanted to, you would have to disclose the incidents with the neighbours.
My wife's elderly parents live very close so moving is really not an option. And we cannot now (seller's pack) as no one will want to be next to him.
The seller 'omitted' to disclose his run ins with him but we did not find out until recently. Managed to track down the previous owner to the seller who said he moved to get away from him.

@ Phazed Just to keep this thread on topic is the neighbour you say is an arse LE by any chance? smile

P.S. how is the holiday going? Any nice pics of Switzerland?

sorry ridds I'm a bit unclear on this, but (funding notwithstanding) did't the whole project stall some time back because the roof wasn't ready? Now the factory is ready (two years on?) but TVR aren't.. I no longer believe anything I hear about this debacle...

Meanwhile, in the garden.... I planted a Wisteria ten days ago..... good ground prep with JI No3 and farm manure... The growth in just ten days is extraordinary.... eek

Wisteria update shout

Another 10 days on....

And its reached the top clap

Bacon.. it will be nice next year when it's in flower.... Since it's raining here and the temperature has dropped , just set 23 litres of Rojo Tinto Rioja on the go. The wine cellar is running low on stock, someone keeps drinking it drunk

Certainly wasn’t LE but his claim to fame was a prominent financial figure at Virgin, (even more an arse).

Stayed in the car park of this disused hotel at the Rhone Glacier. Walked into the ice cave there carved into the glacier. The road below was the route to the hotel which was famous in its day when the glacier was there.

The poor old 2.5 turbo Motorhome really struggled at the high altitude. Definitely could have done with more than the 85 horses that it was born with!

The roads are unbelievable. We have done a couple of hundred miles over the last four days, up and down the mountains. I can honestly admit to many heart stopping moments driving on roads without any barriers with what seems like 1000 feet at least drop below.

We have seen lots of modern performance cars but a couple of hours ago had to pull over on a tight path to allow a stream of about 20 classic cars including an Aston Martin DB5 and their backup cars to pass. All beautiful and certainly made me wish I was in the Boxster and not the Motorhome. Saying that, we have experienced wild camping up in the mountains in the middle of nowhere, mountain bike rides, (electric assist of course) cable car journey up to a high altitude cheese tasting venue et cetera, et cetera. No beach for us!

Where would you find samples of quartz on the Side of the road up a mountain with an honesty box for payment? Mrs phazed wasting valuable Swiss francs which could be used to barter for valuable diesel!

A wooden barbecue? That's a novelty....

These pics are like watching the Tour de France without lycra clad people. Looks like you're having fun. driving

Got any pics of the bikes - I need to buy some and can't decide what to get?

Cube still winning but I'm finding the thought of paying SP6 rebuild cost type money (need 2 bikes) too painful to pull the trigger.

EBay is your friend here; plenty of good used bikes at very reasonable prices.

I've golt an Orbea MB... owned 14 years now... Used to do a lot of single track in the local (ish) forest... great bike and good VFM.... Also had a Trek for a while.. full sus but spent more time in the vertical axis than the horizontal biggrin.... Not up to date with latest but was looking at Rockhoppers.... (Specialist)............. Dunno what the current must have is..... A lot to look at with bikes, particularly frames, forks, crank sets, and gears.... in fact everything.... saddle especially biggrin

We have two of these. Brilliant bikes. Had them since the beginning of lockdown. Excellent battery range. Can’t fault them.
