Handy hint for all you "susp" riders.

Don't hang your bike from the ceiling of your garage by its wheels.

All the oil will run out of your front forks..... laugh

I'm in Wales and dropped by the factory today - contractors are still on site but just finishing up. So wouldn't expect TVR to have taken the lease yet as building isn't yet complete.

Have a pic on my phone I can post if required.

Is there a big TVR sign?

No = they haven’t agreed a lease
Yes = it’s on Velcro. Ditto.

They'll reuse the garden fete signs they had at the Monaco ePrix.

Hung on the the chain link fence outside with some blue nylon rope, sagging in the middle a bit and next to the Dolores Diner flyer held on with cable ties. Lovely sausage and egg bap she does. Lovely see?

Good to know (although i don't have any suspension on my bikes). What i've also seen in a recent video is, to not place your bike upside down on the ground (or even vertical on the wall) for longer times when you have hydraulic disc brakes. Has to do with air bubbles moving in the system that could reduce braking power.

Bikes used to be simple, but not anymore. Had more flats with my two new bikes in the past 18 months than in 35 years of driving before. Brakes are now a thing for service and one of the bikes is already taking weeks to fix due to missing parts. Upgrading brakes would be require an entire new groupset and is definitely not a cheap option.

And this is all for conventional, non-electric bikes.

Just fit some XT brakes. So easy to bleed and to change the pads.

Tell me... since these e-bikes are motorised cycles are they subject to the same rules of the Highway Code as a Motor Cycle ? getmecoat
It gets me goat that now I have to give a cyclist 5 feet but a cyclist can pass me on the inside within a couple of inches !!!!

In France or Switzerland (but I guess that this is the case in lots of European countries), if your bike is limited to 15mph (you can go faster but the engine should stop helping you after the limit) this is like a normal bike. For those who are limited to 28mph, it's the same rules as a motorcycle, helmets are mandatory, you cannot use cycle paths, you need a proper insurance and a driving license.

If true that means that both the Welsh Govt and Jones Bros have been telling porkies. The W.G. said finished by 1st July. Jones posted a 'finished' article around the same time on their website with pics a few weeks ago but their site has disappeared and apparently they're doing a new one.

confused

P.S. which bike were you riding?smile

Practical Completion on a job like that would be before weeks of snagging.

True and without a confirmed tenant probably slimmed down to a skeleton crew. Why put a load of men on a job if it’s not necessary, it’s not like Tvr want to move in there anytime soon.

We allow go for practical completion as soon as possible. Contract time ends and then we can pick up the bits and pieces afterwards and go for final completion.

May I suggest that from now on you call the idiot a Maláka rather than a wker, if by chance the idiot knows the meaning which is extremely doubtful and the police are called, tell the police that the idiot must have misheard you when you shouted for someone to play your favourite song by Boney M - Malaika

This image might help give you some ideas, does the doll look similar to the nipper?
Malaka is very appropriate. He used to stand in the kitchen window around 5pm in just his boxers when our daughter would stop in front of his house before reversing on to the driveway after work.

Actually the doll resembles him quite closely.

Any joy?smilesmile
Unfortunately no. It has all escalated. He called the police after threatening me! They attended and then advised I call 101 and get a crime number after watching my CCTV of the incident. I refused as for the last 5 years the police have been less than interested. So they took it upon themselves and gave me a crime number.

The next day he came home pissed up and started shouting about. His wife went across the road to thank a neighbour while they were on holiday and he really went for it. I was called an evil bd, a , an ahole and he came outside to the front of my house where he skipped up and down the road like a 3 year old shouting "I like a little dance now and again". Not getting any reaction from us he went inside and turned the radio up nice and loud and continued to shout over and over above the music, "them conifers are fking coming down with a vengeance". He said this about 6 times. He's referring to a row of conifers that are actually dead but covered in ivy which are just on his side of the front boundary and form a hedge about 6 feet high. Then he will be able to watch me which I'm sure is what he wants.

Then he repeated over and over "cameras are going up" and true to his word he has installed on Sunday a single camera, solar powered with built in microphone. He can now listen to us on his phone which does not bother us at all. Most of us have CCTV now as we get prowlers.

Still getting no reaction from us, other than my wife who went into the drive in case he did anything really silly, the rear patio doors were flung open and he shouted at the top of his voice "fat bh". So loud that all the families at the back went silent for a few moments. He had seen her from his side window and had been tapping the glass to get her to look. His wife returned from the neighbour's after 40 mins and instantly he turned off the radio and was quiet as a mouse. I reported this via the online police form and next day gave a statement and got two more crime numbers, one for harassment and one for a public order offence. So a week on and I've not heard anything as yet so he thinks he has got away with it.

Then last night we were sitting out in the back garden and he again opened the patio doors and was once more shouting "fat bh" until his wife told him off saying "he can hear you" (meaning the CCTV). Of course he can't now shout at the front or his own CCTV will record him.

The saga continues......
