There were so many good cars back in the day.
A few of the cars that I had and loved at the time and I would be very happy to have them back.
3000 GXL Ford capri
3000 GT Ford Consul
2000 E MK3 Ford Cortina
2.5 PI Triumph saloon
2300 Vauxhall Firenza.
I think that dates me!

C36 amg

Monaro 5,7 and 6l vxr
996 c2 base, manual
One car to cover all bases for the rest of my life simply has to be my 2014 burnt orange Toyota GT86. Stunningly reliable, awesome fun to drive in a spirited manner but easy to drive when you are tired and on a wet motorway at 2am... Rear seats just about big enough for a couple of schoolgirls lol and it's got sensible running costs and is probably the most reliable daily you could ever wish for. I once took three people and two guitars plus a week's luggage down to Le Mans in it...
It's pretty too - and not in an overt way, it just has fantastic lines...

Is it stock, or have you modded the engine to get rid of the flat spot & a bit more power, that seems to be the only real complaint of other owners on PH, with the new one ironing those issues out. Does seem a good car! It's pretty too - and not in an overt way, it just has fantastic lines...

I have always loved the shape of the Cobra although it’s practicality is definitely in doubt.
Although whenever I watch the racing at The Revival, live or on YouTube I always root for the British iron!
Sadly the the RAC Trophy at Goodwood has become a bit of a Cobra tribute race, last year over a 3rd of the field were Cobras. Although whenever I watch the racing at The Revival, live or on YouTube I always root for the British iron!

Thats in large part to the separate Friday night, Sterling Moss Memorial Race which has all the rare astons, ferrari's and jaguars in it.
bennno, you killed the thread man.. You used the F word.... Shame on you......Anyone looking to buy their other half a pressie - TVR themed of course - should look at the price reductions on the TVR site. For example, a woman's gilet was for sale at an eye watering £120. Its yours today for just £15, yep, that's right FIFTEEN POUNDS.
There are only 8 items for sale, but even so, big savings on them all. So what are you waiting for, get your wallets out.
