As TVR don't do updates I've emailed the Welsh Govt for one instead. If previous form is anything to go by the reply will be the usual waffle with no definitive details. rolleyes

Hopefully it wont take weeks for them to answer.... tumbleweed

I fitted a brake servo in the boot to make the clutch a bit lighter on the Chim.

Mine is fitted where the carbon canister used to live. Makes the clutch around 50% lighter

Plenty of TVRs at Oulton Park. Front of picture is 77 RW which is the car that Norman Dewis drove a 17 hour dash to Geneva for the motor show it was to be revealed in.

The chap driving it is Michael Kilgannon, who owns it. On permanent loan to Jaguar Heritage ,Michael takes it home from time to time, and visits various shows too.

I fitted a servo some time ago to my twin plate clutch in my chim as it was sooo heavy. Worked well, but had a weird feeling.

After a while, and been told that the twin plate should be light, I sent it back to the manufacturer. It was obviously faulty as when it returned and I fitted it, it was super light.

Obviously scrapped the servo.

Todays job, fitting £700 worth of heater hoses and pipes to my Boxcart.!!!

Rear engine and twin radiators in the nose make for a spaghetti junction of pipe work.

Flat floor panels off, front subframe and rack lowered before you can start…

Good question although on Facebook it was Richard Kitchen (TVR fan and garage owner) who was offered it. That was more than 4 years ago so probably pointless going to see a derelict factory...

You get taken by helicopter to the factory, they don't have lease on. Then the helicopter whizzes away leaving you to feel like all TVR owners ..left behind.

If anyone can tell me the exact location of the "new factory" I can pass by shortly and take a pic as I'm on a run in the area

Thanks. I knew it was on Rassau Ind Est but wasn't sure where. Next time I stopped I had no internet connection so missed opportunity. Will try again next time I'm up there.
