I doubt you would get much change from £150K for something like that these days.
depends on your specs, so it can be a good margin less then that, I guess that will wake some up :-)

TVR going into production? Colour choices for the interior?
Nope.
A book.
Might be a good one but still…

He loves the ajp engine. So much so that he replaced the one in his Cerbera with a Ford v8.

No but TVR Electric Vehicles (used to be TVR Manufacturing - maybe too embarrassing after 11 years to call it that) just filed a confirmation statement so someone's still very optimistic.

And they don’t have the decency to admit it’s over. Probably still punting deposits.

On the bright news, the advice last year to try overwintering Chilli plants on the kitchen has paid off. The one I left that looked like a dead stick has sprouted into life.

Well done. That's more than can be said of TVR though...

I’ve heard Henryk Fisker is joining the board.

At least he managed to build more than one car, and twice.

What is the point though? To tell his chums in the golf club he's a 'car company' director?

He'll make a perfect match for TVR with this record of car production.

https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/henrik-fiskers-sec...

Have you noticed how he founded his first car company in 2007 when TVR was going under, then it closed just as TVR started up again in 2013?

The 2023 estimate for revenue was $3.3 billion but the reality was it took just $272.9 million or 92% less. In 2020 valued at $2.9 billion but today, is now just $13 million. Depreciation of his one and only car, an SUV, is up to 70%.

Sounds like the sort of director TVR desperately need to join the board then. smile

Well, TVR have been busy, or at least one person has. All 6 TVR companies have re-registered their registered office address from Griffith House, Walliswood, Dorking to their solicitors offices in Guildford. Matthew Truelove is a partner in the legal firm and a director of 4 TVR companies.

Wonder if Griffith House will now be moved on as it doesn't seem to serve any useful purpose. scratchchin

The current car is obviously a dead duck now, but the brand on paper still has a saleable value to someone in the future, that is no doubt why they are keeping it all on life support, probably hoping a Chinese company will want a halo name at some point like Geely did.

Also look at MGs they are now everywhere again!

Probably moving from Griffith House to their new 'Centre of Excellence' to keep costs down. Griffith House is an office above a showroom and nothing much ever seems to happen there.

All except Mr Truelove and Les have changed their correspondence address too those solicitors too. There hasn't been an updated filing of the loan charge which had Griffith House as part of the security (if I read it right) and the registered address listed as there. They also aren't fulfilling some of the obligations of their loan terms and have gotten increasingly sloppy with any sort of company admin.

It feels like some manoeuvring for pre-administration/pre-liquidation type activity, with it becoming unclear who owns what in the solicitors office (so bailiffs can't just take it all one day)

They have a massive loan and have basically broken every promise for 11 years - the music will stop eventually.

I suspect news soon.
