Chap - such sexist remarks don’t reflect well on you. Wind it in or take a time machine back to Edwardian times.
Oh Gazza I despair for you.. you have no sense of humour… and you’d do well to keep the personal insults to yourself they’re most unbecoming.. I think maybe you’re the one who needs to ‘wind it in’ if you’re looking for a bit of confrontation you can pm me wink
It’s important to call these things out. Prejudice is a negative force that should not be ignored.

Girls, girls, girls. This is not the sort of conversation for the Upper Fourth Common Room.

Anyone would think you all owned Fords.

On the other hand, I've just cracked open a €1.89 bottle of Bordeaux from Auchan. So I'm happy to watch.

However, I do think that a sense of humour failure has occurred somewhere.

No really GW me no understandee… I did go out with a Polish girl for a while… should have married her she was very special… and fit.. I mean like really fit. Very attractive too. She ran marathons. And intelligent.. an unusual quality in a woman. Generally speaking that is… And she was very physical. Like really physical.. had to go on a high carb diet to keep up. And cut down on the alcohol.. worth it though…. Reminds me of the time I went on a radical diet, quit alcohol, quit smoking, and started a manic exercise programme.. was the worst three hours of my life.. who knew… anyway, Polish girls, very special… Swedish ones are ok too in my personal experience.. so which ones are the best I hear you say… my vote would be.. oh hang on my phones ringing..

When I read all of that, I didn’t think “Edwardian times”.. I thought it was penned by the reincarnation of benny hill hehe

I parked my 1970 Tuscan outside a restaurant on Saturday, returning to find some private plated soft top F with gold badges parked next to it. No one was interested in it, everyone wanted to know about the Tuscan….

It was all going Gangsta until the Tuscan wouldn’t start and I suffered the indignity of being bump started down the road. fkitty fkitty fkitty!!!

How accurate is the Orders and Deposits post on here ?

Are there really people out there with deposits still in place not knowing when something will be built and what it will be ?

If there was a surge in deposits being refunded would it close down the company?

What is the alternative to a new TVR ? We were spoiled for choice at one stage but is there a Ginetta or Marcos or something by Noble that is a more realistic bet of appearing than a new TVR ?

Maybe something from the various ex Caterham people who are now doing their own thing?

It’s bang up to date, like the TVR website.

Are there really people out there with deposits still in place not knowing when something will be built and what it will be ?

They must still have some, if only because deposit holders aren’t immortal.

If there was a surge in deposits being refunded would it close down the company?

I doubt it.

What is the alternative to a new TVR ? We were spoiled for choice at one stage but is there a Ginetta or Marcos or something by Noble that is a more realistic bet of appearing than a new TVR ?

Yes. The Unicornicus FFS3, it’s a 1000Hp EV that sounds like an Aston and costs 20k. The government pay you to drive it.

Maybe something from the various ex Caterham people who are now doing their own thing?

nothing stated by the current TVR board has so far been accurate

Are there really people out there with deposits still in place not knowing when something will be built and what it will be ?
absolutely, but how many is anyone's guess and the TVR website says they are still accepting deposits

If there was a surge in deposits being refunded would it close down the company?
TVR stated that deposits would be held in a separate account so no and Ensorcia have handed TVR millions and millions to play with

What is the alternative to a new TVR ? We were spoiled for choice at one stage but is there a Ginetta or Marcos or something by Noble that is a more realistic bet of appearing than a new TVR ?
Lotus Emira

P.S. apologies to Monkeylegend for the drift..... smile

Any chance we can drag this back on topic?

My lad got 4 A stars at A Level today. I'm a proud and a bit emotional dad.
