The owner does a lot of track days, and I have been told that the mods are primarily to aid cooling or downforce... although the T350 style lapms and rear lamps are obviously cosmetic!

The rear diffuser can be extended back for track work, and having spoken to the owner he says it's very effective. Notice also the serious brakes on the car, not to mention the fact it has a rollbar...

I went round Oulton Park as a passenger in this car this summer. Can't remember about the brakes but they work well. Bodywork is really to the owner's taste to make the car individual. He said that on track's that he's familiar with the rear diffuser in particular is effective. IIRC the engine is stock. The car runs on Pirelli PZero Corsas which work well (on 17" wheels all round IIRC.) It's certainly a distinctive car which seems to be well set up and balanced.

Brakes are Hi-Spec jobs, unsure of size, but larger than standard.

Engine is a 4 litre... not sure of all the work done, but it certainly has equal length manifolds and a non-standard Y-piece.

HiSpec? Didnt know they did fittings for chims? Unless he's running on different hubs??

Interesting! Is he coming to the Monster Meet?

Seen quite a few Chim's with Hi-Spec brakes - certainly two or three at Mid-Essex on a regular basis.

No idea, if I see him this week I'll ask.

ASH - Er yes - it is ready now! I have put more than than the average TVR annual miles on it in the last 3 months!

Needs cage but do not have time. Way to much on.

Will have a new chip next week from US - we now know it is a more like an LS1 / LS6 chip in it save - getting new ecu (at no cost as already paid for it).

Should be Tuned 02-04 Z06 Map with 6750 rev limit (more advance than what I have now) set for 96 octance(not paying for optimax - upto 10p more per litre now!) instead of 92 (US). If it make 410bhp and similar torque on Surrey roller than will leave it for now - if not will get Wortec to sort it.
