I'm picking up a project Lee02 and myself started a few months back . Carrying on the work Lee did for his Tuscan Convertible A post rubber moulding and hopefully extending the range to cover more models . The process is expensive and time consuming , because you just can't scan a part and print it (if only you could smile ) . Scanning produces a 3D bit map , but this has to be smoothed by applying 3D splined surfaces and made into a geometric mathematical model before printing. That's the expensive bit that cost lee £250 for his part. I've got Griff,Chim,Tuscan 2/Convertible ,Tam/Sag/T350 B post caps and Chim targa bar caps . I haven't any Tam A post samples and I don't know about Cerbera bits.
This the reverse engineered .stl file from Lee

And his 3D TPU printed part

I'll update this thread as to progress (it won't be quick) , but I would like to gauge the interest in purchase of these items for lets say £30 / pair ??? (off the top of my head figure)

I'm close to finishing a small supply for my customers of the Sagaris ones. They will retail at £80 a pair so I think if you can do at £30 that's a bargain and gets my support.

Keith - Good job!

I know of one person with an '02 Mk.1 Tuscan that needs a set of the front glass mouldings....not sure if his rear items are required.
I'll direct him to this topic.

Are you able to offer all SIX (one at the front and two at the rear of each door) for the Tamora?

Maybe I didn't explain ... But I need samples to scan , I have some as stated above. But if anyone has "spare" or fallen off ones in good condition they can lend me so I can get them scanned it would be appreciated and required.

In order Chim Targa Bar, Tuscan 2/Convertible, Chim, Griff and the uni currently has a Sag one

I think Sag , Tamora and T350 share the same "B" frame part. (but I need to make sure .

The only "A" frame I have is the Tuscan Convertible and I guess the MK2 is the same

I don't know if the MK! is the same as a MK2 , but I guess not .. so yes I would need a sample. I hope using a mirror image would work between passenger and drivers side. I know TVR parts were moulded so theirs weren't the same , but all needed trimming to fit , because no two TVRs are the same smile .

These are the relevant items from my Tamora. Do they look like those on the T350/Sagaris?

The "B" frame one .. yes looks like a Sag but I've not got the "A" frame one , different that any other one I've seen ...I need One smile
I believe the technical terms for these items is "MUCKETS" but I'm not sure Heath Briggs at X-Works is taking the piss and having me on , or his spell checker is miss behaving smile

I would be also interested by a pair for a Chimaera, could we have more information about the prices (for the different model) and delays?
I will ask to other French owners, I know some who have also lost this small rubber item.
