Thank you, probably wise. It's hard to know what market rate is. I'd happily take a reasonable offer but organising viewings, inspections, test drives etc all takes time and energy I don't seem to have at the moment and I was hoping there was a trusted company to take care of it. k that.There's a reasons WBAC exist (I'm not suggesting that you use them on a TVR!) - I've sold many a cheap car to them because I just cannot be bothered with the tyre kickers expecting a pristine car for £1500!
Oh, FWIW the market is s-l-o-w at the moment due to interest rates, economy, cost of living etc so that will push down prices somewhat.

There are only 3 other V8 S Series up for sale on here at the moment and those are all trade sellers and 2 of those have been for sale for quite a while. Sadly, that's the nature of car selling at the moment. I've noticed a drop in prices for entry-level supercars. F430s were at £80k+ and I'm seeing them now for £60k+.If you don't need the money, I'd hold it until summer. You're also selling a convertible which sells better in summer.
If you can find "sold" adverts it will give you a real idea of what the market will pay. People are still living in a headspace where they think their cars are worth loads but there are just no buyers! The reality is that as the prices have gone up and up over the last ten years, no-one seems happy to accept the values are now on the slide in all areas of the market. Personally I am glad as I used to love changing cars quite regularly for a selection of Porches, big Mercedes, Jags and other large high end stuff ad really good prices but that all stopped when the prices went mad! 15 years ago I bought a 1978 Porsche 911SC Targa with MOT and in presentable condition for £7500 which, quite frankly is all it was worth. The same car would be £25k now but is never worth the money. I have a 1987 350i wedge now and it is much more fun, and quicker than the Porsche ever was!
If you are looking for an SOR then take a look at Amore Autos, a highly respected TVR specialist who undertake the sale of a car on behalf of the seller.
Have a chat with Mark, the owner, as he is currently looking to bolster his stock levels. But, as he says, go for a drive first to ensure you really want to sell!
