joospeed said: There's a lot of peolpe having trouble getting pics on here .. can't Ted do something much simpler for us I wonder .. Ted? .. when I upload pics to my Freeserve (spoit) webspace I just browse for the file on my hard drive and hit "upload" and it's done .. is that not possible here?
Joolz

Yeah, but thats the difference between uploading and linking. It would greatly increase the bandwidth requirements for pistonheads if Ted was to host the photos on the site, so you have to link them from somewhere else.
The places you can host them for free make their money from advertising, so they try and prevent you just putting in a reference to the photo itself, to hot link it from another site.
The best place to put your photos, for linking like this is on the free webspace that most ISPs provide you with.

i.e. with force9 I upload photos to an ftp server (homepages.force9.net) using my userid and password, and then I can link to the photos under www.squirrelz.force9.co.uk

10 points to you sir! And after 2 months trying to get photos on here i finaly see the light. I took this photo in Le Mans as I was driving Chimaera around the local area. I tried my best to keep up with it but god damn is it fast. Luckily it stoped in a car park for some photos. I think it is the same car that was at the motorshow.

it twas the car at the motorshow I asked Baldrick when I saw him it was shown as the T400R. The car was driven to Le Mans by EVO at rather a rapid pace by all accounts !!!

I can tell you this much. A Chimaera cant keep up I dont think i have ever seen something move so fast besides a shooting star. Here was one of the photos I was trying to show you all, just for practise. Its Peter Wheeler and myself at Donington July 22 2001. GT Power Tour.

I think he is laughing because i have just said to him "I have recently bought a Chimaera and it makes me laugh" Updated Wednesday from Public Gallery not my Albums. hope it works all the time.

John you must be a feckin giant you make PW seem normal rather than unfeasibly tall!! I stand next to him and I look like a dwarf - and i used to think that 5' 11" was normal.

Still any one wondering they'll fit in a TVR should take a look at this pic should resolve any doubts they have

Someone else put these on for me a few weeks back but they are some of my favourites, so here they are again. Elvington airfield and I have my foot flat to the floor in Chimaera and I can see Orange Cerbera 4.5 Cerbi coming up fast.

And now he is a dot in the distance and i cant believe my eyes. I still have my foot flat down in Chimaera and hmmmmm! I think I need one of those?

Oh! I am 6ft 4 which is probably why Peter Wheeler doesnt look such a giant. And the reason i have my knees touching the dash in Chimaera

Thankyou all once again for your words of wisdom on getting photos on here. It would be a good idea to have a step by step instruction guide on the Gassing section. Have to go now but i will leave you with a photo of my Chimaera coming into a bend at Elvington after squeezing 160mph down the runway. Chimaera S3TAY
