Quite often I just see the small red cross. What I do is open the quote (like, to reply) then hit Preview. This usually prompts the pic to open too. Then close the preview, exit (back) and it's then usually on the thread too.

QED.

Are you making sure that the pics are available for public display and not in a private album.

I have no idea if that is the problem, but it is a thought.

I hope it will stay there this time
as I have put them in the
Public Photos at Fotango.
But next time i come on PH they may have disapeared. Would the photos not apear
if they were in my Album section??????
Hopefully David10167 advice has helped on this matter.

But for how long i wonder. I suspect that the cock up was putting the photos on my own
personal Albums section.
I have spent the last 20mins putting
them in the PUBLIC GALLERY at Fotango.
Im not going to use Webshot anymore.
The other reason for my photos up at
the momment is that I am on the computer
so it can read it from my Crive.
But hopefully I have cracked it.
As most of the people on here probably appriciate British Cars.
Here is a photo of my old Mini Cooper BBQ.
It was a great drive home but
its amazing what 2 weeks, a metal saw and a gas powered BBQ can do. 0-60 degrees in 3.7 seconds. Licence plate was BBQ 1

Chimaera S3TAY.

John,

I feel almost guilty saying that I can only see a red cross.

It's probably best if you just try to describe your cars and we all close our eyes and imagine...

John,

You don't need to put them in a public gallery, but you do need to click on the "get a link to this picture" button, don't post the url in you browser, use the one just above the photo in fotango (it even says "The URL for this photo is etc")

Easy really

Thats what my wheels look like after a run out in Derbyshire Peak District.
I have had a quick look on Fotango
above my photo but i dont see anything
that says URL? thingy? Where do you
address the link too? Pistonheads? I think everyone who achieves complete photo success deserves a medal or certificate! I have found where it says get a link to this picture I have clicked on it and i am just about to try and work the rest out now????

If you right click on the photo, go to properties and it'll give the url.

I have been right clicking copying the URL and then typing [pic] pasting it and then putting [/pic] at the end.
I am just trying to understand
the whole link thing now????
