I arrived in my S3. We couldn't use it to leave the church as the wife couldn't get in with her dress. Had to make do with a 1930's roller instead!!

Still, we drove off to honeymoon in the Tiv though.

I got married last summer. Turned up in my blue Griff 500. And my new wife and I left the reception in the evening in it as well. I could not think of a better car to travel in on your wedding day.

However... The trip to the wedding was fun... Raining, so roof on. Me and the best man in the car, overnight bags filling the boot. Baskets of flowers for the mothers and some guests behind the seats, large tray of button hole flowers on the best mans lap, and the pasenger foot well filled with pressies for the brides maids. All in all a very packed car.

I'm getting married in May and was thinking of leaving the church in the Tamora. Trouble is Rebecca's got a Morris Minor so we'll probably use that! At least I'll be able to drink while we're in it!

I used my Chim to transport my mother - in - law (yes mother in law!) to and from her wedding... Went very well - roof off, nice arrival, everyone impressed! They used it for photographs too...

Oh! There's a thought. My brother's getting married in May, maybe I'll take the Griff up. That'll please him.

We used the Chimaera on our wedding day, turned a few heads in the local village, then after the photo session outside the town hall every one wanted pictures with the car

I took my my best friend's sister to and from her engagement party, was bit of a weird experience:

In the run up to the ceremony, the organisation at the hotel was running behind schedule so I was instructed to park up at the local train station a couple of minutes away while things were getting sorted. Picture it, a young white male driving a TVR Cerbera and in the passenger is a beautiful 21 year old asian bride dressed up in all the asian ceremonial gear - tiara, gold jewellery, lace gowns, the full monty. Behind her was another asian girl of 19-20 in the same gear. We had to wait in the car park for over half an hour and some of the looks we were getting were hilarious!

Good choice, the slower Chimaera would suit better than a Griffith .......

Doesn't look like the same colour as my Tamora - hard to tell though with just a photo.

If anyone has got this month's copy of Sprint turn to page 40. Mr Big did his bit and picked up the best man. Ours is the blue Griff.

Well in my (extremely biased) opinion, this is the best way to arrive at one's wedding:

Yaaawwwnnnn, why do Grif owners continue to berate Chim owners? Er, quite how an equivalent engined grif can be faster than a Chimaera is beyond me given that they weigh the same, deliver the same power, have the same gearing etc.......
Maybe it's an inferiority complex?

Edited to sort out drunkem schpelling mishtaix

That is a truly excellent piece of wedding photography!

Had a bunch of cheesy shots done with mine pre-wedding including the smug-bloke-outside-church one I posted earlier (and was nearly late as a result) - My Dad & brother were driving the Chimaera to the reception (I was in back of cream Rolls with the new Mrs. Paul) and the photo-bloke wanted a pic of them roaring off from the church sans-roof. Given that neither Dad or my bro had experience of the TVR roof mechanism (or the boot opening method) they arrived an hour later at the reception red faced and without any pictures...
