Hmmm, maybe I can transfer my 2002 deposit then, since they've refused to repay it.

I don't know why they don't go all the way and promise it will have 2000bhp, a built-in commode in the driver's seat, and will be made out of unobtainium and recycled Space Shuttle tiles. It's about as likely to be delivered as this is.

120k is 2nd hand lambo murci money. Who would choose it over a tvr who dont even have a factory anymore? Obviously it could be fantastic but I would have thought tvr market is people who want to by 30kish sportscars and then expand upwards, but they cocked up the initial part and now want to go build supercars for mortgage money?! Reminds me of the Farboud chap who didnt finish his supercar project so sold it and started again with some nice promises and very nice pre motorshow sketch, then revealed a godawful looking sub enzo style box made out of old boxes from tesco held together with string.

Apologies for borrowing from Sniffpetrol, but I think their easy-to-complete Brit Supercar Press Release form is perfect for this:

Will any leasing company finance this car? If so what would be the minimum deposit, how much would the residuals be? and could you get them guaranteed????

Few Questions:Why Expensive Carbonfiber and not GRP?
Is a 600HP Carboncar so much faster,as an GRP Car?
I Think not Really, the pruce gives the GRP build Ultima GTR.
The Tuscanengine was uncharged an Troublemaker with many
Technical probs, and now he will produce an Charged version
with these Engine?
The Elise is powered by Toyota,an non UK Engine ,but it is an great Car.
I would use an TT Lexus V8 for the Typhoon, thats an Modern engine with
good Fuel Consumption,it is Compact and build in Aluminium(Lightweigt)
and Cheap, and with Turbo really an Torquemonster.
120000BP is a much bang of Money for an non Existing Carcompany looks like
TVR.
NS hasnt a Productionfacility,no Workers with enough experience to Build TVRs
but news said, the New Typhoon is at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
Thats Really a Bad Joke.
What for an Typhoon-an Mock-up Dummy without Engine build from restparts of the
TVR Car range or what?
Thats the Art of Russian Business,Dear Customer, pay Money for an Car before it is
Produced with an Delivertime of 20 Years (with Luck),thats Great!
Ah yes,i have heard the new Jensen is at the Geneva Motorshow, with his upcoming
200000 BP Supercar.
Ok,Jensen has no Workers or Facilities looks like TVR ,but hey, when the Customers are
Stupid enough to believe the Stupid Brainsh1t of NS,is it OK.
See to Wiesmann in Germany, thats an Small Company without the Big Money Background of
NS,but these Small Factory delivers great Quality Cars with Great Performance, and
great Technology and Design, without Cad Design, and it Works.
Why cant do an Billionaire looks like NS that?
I cant understand these Incompetence.
It a bad game for the UK workers and Dealers/Servicing Companies.
These Guy is only an Joke,an Dumbhead with Money, not More.

The Typhoon will feature TVR's first outing with computer-aided design. "It's a new method of design for us", said Oxley.

Perhaps he means that the body will be styled electronically, which would be a first - but then both Damien and GB were fully versed in Alias.

I think that will be the case. It's been pretty much industry standard to use Alias for a while now, as much as people take the mick, its a fantastic medium, if a little hard to learn at first to do it *properly* - I know, I use it, and im no where near the level I wish to be yet.

A positive step for TVR, hopefully Smoleski will be quicker to bring it to production than PW ever was.

How can any company survive with the monies that it invests in creating so many different models, with so little volume in sales of each model.

I suspect TVR are throwing cash at the wrong things and it's no wonder they're losing cash hand over fist.

Was there ever a confirmed power output from the orange Typhon that was ordered by someone on here? I seem to recall that it was meant to be around the 600bhp mark, but actually was producing/capable of a lot more.

It has been said a few times that they built 5 or 6 Typhons.

Does anyone on here actually own one?

Anyone got pics of an actual production car?

5 or 6 extra prototypes that just happened to be sold to customers does not make the Typhon a 'production car' in my opinion.

Having just looked on the typhon forum to see how many owners there are, it appears this "Tetley tea bag" release is some three months old.

Come on Ted, keep up
