My Chimaera is three tomorrow so its MOT time!

(I had it serviced in August & so am out of sync. to get a sevice & MOT at the same time)

I get my 8 year old Golf GTI done where ever they can do it "while U wait" but I haven't found an MOT station yet that I would trust not to scratch/cover in oil/rev the t*ts off the Chim.

Can anyone recommend anywhere in the Hertfordshire / North London area?

Or am I just being an old woman?

Well Tower View do MOTs - well actually they don't but they use the place next door - I guess it would be in good hands there. Rich...

To be correct turn left out of Tower View, first left end of road turn right, next left end of road turn left, down to the round about third exit down service road. Pitstop MOT centre.
They did use Mels Place which was amost next door.

Got mine done at the local garage while I waited and watched - passed no problem. However the guy did say you shouldn't use the rolling road thingy to test the brakes if you have a limited slip diff, so he took the car out with one of those old jobbies that measures the retarding force while braking. Is this right or did he just want a drive?
