Just to let you know that TVR Engineering are fitting all their Tuscans with Toyo tyres. P/W took his Tuscan home with the new SO3's and had them removed from the production line. The Toyo's apparently give a better ride with a slightly higher profile and therefore also creates less flexing of the roof panels while driving (less creaks and rattles) The Tamora is set to run on 15/16 inch Avons and this is one of the main reasons it handles so well.

You mean I can stick a set of Avons on my Chimaera and the handling will come as a revelation to me?

Either that or on the first wet bend you will leave the road, ive driven cars on high performance Avon tyres, god awful doesnt even begin to cover the description. Perhaps the ones on the Tamora are a new pattern, but id make very sure you get the right ones if you plump for them.

I think have a go in the Tamora and see what you think. The same guys who set up the Factory Tuscan R rave about the Avon's on the Tamora press cars
