This is the only thread I've ever seen, where he's took a 137-0 hammering on the post count.

He normally gets at least one person quoting "we should give him a chance, we're all racist blah blah blah"

But I reckon he's finally f~cked it up good & proper this time

When you read these headlines from the PH news page in order, and arrive at the proposed Veyron-beater, it's almost funny.

Flash! TVR moves to Europe
TVR could remain in Britain
TVR production melts down
TVR sells off production arm
TVR's name goes up for sale
TVR SOLD!
TVR will change hands again
TVR workers call for inquiry

250mph and TVR makes for a very scary combination. Anyone on here with Tuscan or Cerbera fancy stuffing a Speed12 under the bonnet and having a go at maxing it out? The stuff of nightmares providing you came back alive that is! The technology involved in making a viable Veyron competitor would be immense.

Headline grabbing horses**t. Not a hope in hell of producing a car like the veyron. Just hope they get back to producing something that is affordable and goes like stink, but not holding my breath.

Do you think are Russian friend reads this forum? I can't believe he hasn't been told about it. In fact I’m sure he's read some of the threads, understood them, gained a grasp of what the market likes and what the punters really want and then done the complete opposite silly

What an awesome facility this forum would be to find out what the true enthusiasts of your brand want. And it's free!!

Whilst standing back and observing this whole situation unfold, I can't believe that this guy has any strategic plan at all. He must decide what he will do each day whilst figuring out how to tie his shoe laces in the morning.

Yesterday I was reading The TVR Griffith Story by Roger Shackleton...I still can not believe what has happened to TVR? For anyone studying for a MBA, this must be a fantastic case-study of how to totally wreck a business?

It all makes me so sad...I really loved some of their cars! The TVR Griffith 500 must remain the ultimate Rover V8 powered car and that is not a bad way for TVR to be remembered?

In future, when Petrolheads are asked about TVR, rightly or wrongly, it will probably be Peter Wheeler and the Griffith that will be most often mentioned...

I'm sure that I'm repeating what others have already said but, if he admits to folding the company with the sole intention of writing off the losses and buying it back on the cheap, isn't this illegal.

To claim he's lost the most money may well be true in total amount, but not relative to what the workers were being paid, or supposed to be paid.

Isn't he now losing all credability for the many loyal supporters of the marque?

A very clever move indeed but he needs to move fast.
With the sales volume of the Buggatti it's a market that I'm sure all the manufacturers will be chasing!

Just back from Geneva and no stand, let alone new car - I really think the guy is out there on the same cloud-cuckoo-land as Michael Jackson(Sorry, Michael).

What an absolute load of twaddle, this man might have money & vision??? but where's the business sense -Siberia,down a salt mine. How can he even pretend to compete with such cars, so far he has'nt made 1 single sound business decision.TVR is about as safe as the National Heath Service and anything else come to that as it is with our fabulous Tonny . THINKING ABOUT IT THE RUSSCI COULD DO SOMETHING FOR TONY,HE SEEMS TO THROW HIS MONEY ABOUT,AND THEIRS ALWAYS THE CHANCE OF A SEAT NEAR THE THAMES TO BE HAD!!!!

Seriously, what a weapons grade tw*t. Never mind Veyron beater mate, just get some production going of a half decent sports car first.
