Has anyone tried selling their TVR lately?

Let's just have a whip round. We can't make a bigger mess of it.

Sad Reality
is surely that TVR as a British Car manufacturer is no longer in existance.
Good Bit
There is a market left by TVRs exit for another british car Manufacturer to take over.
As sad as it is I have to say, forget TVR and its failed management, its history, cant some Company get that workforce back in business under a different name building simple, usable, affordable sports cars. We can then forget all about this sad chapter and look forward to the next (hopefully) good one.

How completely pointless, all credibility lost by moleskins when he completely misunderstood his workers and customers. Waste of time and money - veyron competeition is aimless and ridiculous, no one with sense is going to buy a new TVR from him after all of this. Shame.

A lot of the workers with great skills lost everything and are unemployed. Mr Smolenski does not understand much about anything...
As far as 'plans' to beat the Veyron-where is this person come from!

Does it ever occur to any of you lot that it is absoluely *nothing* to do with cars? And this latest American adventure...is absolutely nothing to do with cars?

Oi Smolenski, do us all a favour, and give TVR to someone who genuinely has a passion for the brands heritage, it's dedicated fans and the spirit of driving. As if any of us want a veyron beater??! All we want is what the Griffith brought us, true british muscle, innovative designs, and a price tag the right side of 50 grand. Do you really think anyone is going to put money in your pocket after ruining one of the last great hand built British manufacturers? There will be no confidence in TVR until it's safely back with someone who has the right qualities and even deeper pockets to repair the damage you caused!

All i can say about this having worked for this idiot and then being made redundant is DON'T BELIEVE A WORD HE SAYS!!!!Luckily i have found a job but there are many of my workmates who have'nt.He left over 200 people in the lurch at christmas and only getting half of their entitled redundancy money. he swindled the local council and the government and then just cleared off leaving a big mess behind.I hope no one will ever buy a T.V.R. again,if you want a sportscar buy a british built one.i hope that where ever this con man goes he is reminded of what he has done to the last fully british built car and i hope no one does business with him ever again.

I'm glad that you found another job, but feel sorry for the other 200 workers who have'nt found jobs yet.
I speak from experience having been made redundant twice in my careerirked, it's not very pleasant, so I hope those 200 workers find jobs soon.

I read in EVO that the TVR-Bertone connection may be in trouble now as well - Bertone are in their own dire straits apparently.

This is becoming a total farce. Why doesn't that b'stard just bugger off back to the USSR (?) He only took over the business as a plaything and when things start going breasts up, he bails out. I love TVRs with all of their faults and idiosyncrasies. I nearly bought a Tuscan last year, went for a test drive and everything but could not justify it with a young family etc so bought an XJR instead. but I LOVED the TVR. This company has simply got to continue under British ownership. My thoughts go out to all of the craftsmen and women that are now struggling after this Dork has mucked about with my favourite marque. Sorry for the rant folks
