I second the Tesco's route - just insured my S4 for £485 (Garaged).

Did it over the phone and got an additional 5% discount for Internet sign up!

Check directline before deciding. Think I got a good deal for the Nreg Chim w/ garage. Manning was recommended but they required 1 yr sports car experience. br, Sigfrid

Porsche 993 £4k with £250 excess and business use (would have been 2.5k without) local broker (will put Url here when I find it) TVR would have been slightly less, couldn't get a quote for a Noble. Worst quote? AA £7.5k with 1k excess lol ! Garaged, Derbyshire, GPS Tracker, no C&C but no NCB either. They wouldn't quote at my old address (St. John's Wood, garaged but away from my house)

What's the score with insurance thru the TVR club?

Is it worth joining for the benefit of reduced insurance?

Is it worth joining at all ? I have a hesitancy to do, having been a very disillusioned member of various clubs, including Lancia, Alfa, BMW, Club Vectra, MG, Jaguar - the majority of which were not for me.

Tesco is the place. Just insured my Chimaera 450 £300.00 less than anyone else could offer.
