Hi FB-S,

Three Counties TVRCC RO David Jones is planning to attend the meet on 16th Jan and will be able to chat about the region and their activities.

I suggest we stay with the idea at the moment until we see the number interested as 5 people have yet to respond. We could then change to Painswick if it is preferred as it is later in the month.

I'm due a trip up to Barnwood to fettle with my web server / database. I'll try and wangle something!!

Its a damn good romp over there for me via Buckingham, Chippy, Stow et al, just hope the ice buggers off!!, and she knows the road like the back of her hand (especially at 3 - 4 in the morning!!)

I assume sealer is the way to go in this situ?. I think I've got some from a while back when I re-sealed the brake fluid container on the driverside wing. Thanks for the offer though!!

Ive only ever had an MOT done by them. Ive sought advice over the phone and they have allways been very good. Spares seem to take a long time to materialise though. It took 6 weeks to get a touch up stick. Other than that very good so far.

Hi guys,

At the moment there are only 2 others, FatBoy Spin and Veg, who have indicated an interest in meeting up on Wedenesday 16th (see further up the thread).

Is there anybody else from this list that showed an interest earlier? If not I think we would be better changing to the Cotswold 3 Counties TVRCC meet later in the month. I'll post the details here in a couple of days if there is no further interest.

I live in Bath and have a Cerbera 4.5, are you guys the nearest i have to a TVR club type thing or do you knwo of one nearer to me???

Suggest you try the Bristol region of the TVR Car Club who meet not too far from Bath. E-mail me (address in profile) if you need their name and number.

I live in North Bristol and Work in Bath.

The Bristol club website can be found under... http://go.to/tvrbristol ...the next meeting is on the Sunday 20th of Jan at the Golden Heart at Winterbourne Down. It's less than quarter of a mile off the ring road about 12 miles from the centre of Bath. Please feel free to pop along to the meeting.

OK, back to the original topic.

There have only been 3 takers (FatBoy Spin, Veg and panoz) from an apparently enthusiastic initial response so I propose that we move the meet to the next Cotswold 3 Counties date.

I discussed this with them last night at their mid-week get together and they will be expecting us.

Details (as in Sprint) are:
' Edgemoor Inn at Edge on the A4173 near Painswick, lunchtime Sunday January 27th from around 12:30 hours.'

Sorry for the change, hope the new date is convenient.

Look forward to meeting you there and obviously the invitation is open to anybody else who can make the revised date or otherwise has an interest in coming.

Just stumbled on this thread.

As somebody spotted earlier I'm in that area, I might see you on the 27th.
Might 'cos I'm fed up with the cold and wet and trying to book a short notice holiday somewhere hot as soon as possible (and cheap, the car needs a service soon) please!!

Ooh, ello, glad this thread popped back up. I'm going to be in Cheltenham from next Sunday night through to Thursday evening, inclusive.

If anyone fancies a pint and a chingwag one evening, give me a shout. Preferred venue would be TGI Friday on the A40 just up the road from the M5 roundabout - my "hotel" being just opposite it. The grub is acceptable there too.

I dont get onto these forums much, so I had not seen this thread before today !!
I live in Bishops Cleeve and work in Cheltenham and would be interested in meeting anyone for a chat. Lunchtimes are best for me (Kids!!) especially in pubs in centre of town.
