Unbelieveable. The anti-TVR bias was amazing. "I know, let's test what really matters in sportscars, how quickly the roof goes up! That'll teach em for winning last week!" You could just see the smugness in their faces.

Whoever is in charge of TVR public relations should be fired. Whatever possessed them to let Drivel get their hands on a pre-production car that can't turn corners. Talk about giving the enemy a golden opportunity to shoot us down in flames.

Beaten by a sodding Z3!! I was so mad I was spitting out bits of teeth!

gb, it was a repeat....I'm quite glad of the reaction it got from the punters, imagine that hideous bird who sat in the porker and said "now this is real class" sitting in a Tiv, no thanks you stay with your porsche luv. I've said it before, you need commitment to drive a Tiv, keeps the riff raff out (or should that read committed)

I missed it first time round so made a special effort to watch it last night. In the first test when they were burning up the road (ie the only useful test) the TVR was the only one where he was smiling as he drove it.

How can they say the interior of the Porsche is better than the TVR? The Porsche is complete plastic!

+ If you took the TVR to Scotland at least you would stay awake unlike the other two you would most Definitely fall asleep from boredom!

It was obvious from the opening statements that the TVR wasn't going to win - Plato said 3 sentences, each of which was a negative statement about the Tamora - such as " theis car has no traction control, no ABS," etc.

Strangely, the true opinions only surfaced when they summed up at the end, by saying that the two lads had really enjoyed the Tamora, but for some reason they couldn't score it higher - Isuspect they have regular threesomes with puny Mammory - how else would her pathetic views get translated into the final results?

Puny was incredibly negative also - why did she assume the Tamora would fail over a road hump? Why was she so "amazed" when the spoiler didn't catch? obviously a discussion had taken place before the cameras rolled, and the pecking order had already been sorted out.

As for the bunch of nouveau riche, fur-coat-and-no-knickers lot in the "sports restaurant", they were fed with their answers - look at the badges first was the essence of the intro to that part - style is the most important thing in these cars - Is that so?!!

Complete and utter bollocks, from start to finish.

The only good thing was the sight of Mallory's mammaries.

The other bloke should stick to what he's good at - deals on wheels - and leave the new car stuff to competent presenters.

Come back Jeremy Clarkson!!!

I don't recollect that from the first time I watched it. Have they edited it to make it more interesting? R...

Watched the first 10 mins, realised it was a repeat, and switched off. And that's after promising myself I would never even try to watch Drivel again!!!

But the listings said there would be an Alfa in Monte Carlo - liars. However I also noticed that Plato was really enjoying driving the Tamora, just confirms how dishonest the programme is, already proven by the laughable points "system". AArgh!!

ps sorry to hear you have to be gorgeous, if you're female, to sit in a TVR, apache. I'll be the one with a paper bag over me head, then.

I think you just have to treat that test for what it really is - worthless.

Just like the program and presenters.

Sounds about right. Though I thought the Tamora sounded quite nice when it was launched up the road.

At the end of the day you pays your money etc... and you buy the car you want. Who cares what others think ??

Are people really so mindless as to buy a car that is voted best in Driven ? I hope not

Mel,

They do not sag at all ! Don't be so rude, you obviously don't know how to treat a lady and are probably nasty to girls on horseback as well.

Drivel is the best motoring program ever made and it just a shame that you TVR driving types don't recognise talented presenters when you see them. Any one who understands cars knows that Porsches must be best cos they are the best sponsers.

Anyway - I will soon be promoted to present Changing Vrooms which is a new program about making over old cars. The first program updates an Austin Montego using leftover Laura Ashley curtain fabric on the seats and a cornflake packet for a bodykit. We will be sponsored by some chap called Max Power.

Love, Puny.

When you've mastered how to dribble work for Drivel

Ow about an interactive jobbie. Pick your ending. You could have one for the TVR winning or the TVR winning or the TVR winning
