Don't quite understand the negative reaction? Some people say the looks are a touch conservative for a kit, but the performance of a Murtaya with a big turbo makes the average Griff look distinctly pedestrian.

Of course with four wheel drive and electronically adjustable diffs it's much less work in the process, which you could argue spoils the fun a little, but for shear pace it's in a different league. The only thing I've driven which beats it for sheer ferocity is a VTEC powered Ariel Atom.

Don't get me wrong - it offers a very different experience to a TVR and as such one will never be a direct replacement for the other, but don't knock it 'till you've tried it. smile

Saw one at a show and thought the principle was really good! Just needed more work with the design. The interior was a mess. I agree that this has huge possibility, but the madness of a TVR makes it fun for me. Not 4wd sensibility.

Looks OK in my opinion, and I'm sure its a fine car to drive, its got most of the right ingredients.

But having said that, for me it hasn't got the class and elegance of some TVRs, or the outrageousnous of others.

Nah, Impreza alternative I'd say in truth.

I think comparing it to a Z4 is missing the point even more than comparing it to a TVR.

Having driven one, I have to say it's an awesome machine.
The Murtaya had geniune 'supercar beating' performance and was a very involving drive!

As a 4WD comparable, I recently drove an R8...
As impressive as the Audi was, I'd rather buy a Murtaya!

90 miles a day commute.

Don't get me wrong the Z4M is no TVR... but that said (not wishing to divert this thread too much), the Bavarian muscle car does have an awful lot going for it!!!
