Clarkson to host Top Gear again

According to the Times on Saturday today Jeremy Clarkson is to host Top Gear again. It doesn't quote a starting date.

Where is this TG to be hosted - haven't the BBC abandoned the idea? Is C4 taking it over? Great news if it's true!!

I saw that in todays Mirror aswell.

I thought the BBC were dropping Top Gear.

Was at a dinner with Tiff before Xmas. He said that they would be on Channel 5 called 5TH Gear.
Great to have Clarkson back.

the article says:

"Jeremy Clarkson will return to front BBC2's Top Gear after the previous presenting team decamped en masse to Channel 5. The long-running BBC consumer car programme had been on hold but will return with a new look and a campaigning role."

So looks like a return to BBC2.

I caught a glimpse of the Sun's take on this today, something about Clarkson wanting to teach grannies to do handbrake turns.

Once he's taught my granny, she can show me!
