Superb weather fantastic turnout
and so many exotic cars

Many thanks to all who organised it.

Look forward to seeing you all again at the next one

I'm sure that could be arranged. Suggestions for venues (preferably public venues with loads of space that don't need prior booking or any of that hassle) welcomed.

It might be a bit geographically close to the last one but Windsor Great Park is good.

I've already posted this on another thread, but Ted, can we please have the next one somewhere further North, eg. Chatsworth? Surrey is a bit far for some of us on a day trip, and Chatsworth is beautiful for a big picnic and/or barbie - nice driving roads around there, too!

Ok, so it's a bit close to me....but Knebworth House is pretty good; there's stacks of room to park up for a group shot...and a few attractions to wander round:

It's still quite a long way if you want to travel from Newcastle, Cumbria, or even Scotland. C'mon, let's do Chatsworth, but not when the horsey types take over - we can give 'em a few horsepower of our own!!

From someone who hardly managed to get the engine warmed up (well apart from in the car park queue) in driving to VW, I for one would welcome a venue like Chatsworth.

Only fair that all have a chance to meet (not just us southern bar stewards)
Of course - it doesn't need to be close to the Back Home trip (would need time to recuperate from any jaunt north of the Watford Gap!!!!!)

As I hinted at before, I didn't actually organise it so go ahead and name a date for a northern meet. Johno sorted out the southern meet by stating a date and venue and offering encouragement and reminders. Go for it.

OK here's my suggestion. Chatsworth, 26th. May (Sunday). Drive in towards the main house and find the TVR's! Say 12.30 start? Comments?

Greetings all,

What a crying shame I missed you all. I found out too late, and I only live down the road, too ! I was out terrifying the general public on the backroads of Berks/Surrey. I'm sure my Chim had a big grin on her face, too

An important note for anyone who wants to organize a meet in Windsor Great Park: you need to get permission from the Crown Estate Park Rangers. The Berks TVRCC have their Annual Summer Picnic in the Park, and the Rangers are very strict about this permission thing...

Another sunny day...the Chimaera is calling me...see you later

Hi guys

Sorry I had such a late & flying visit (turned up at about 14:30 in the Corrado and couldn't stay long), but it was still great to see everyone, even if I didn't get to talk to many.

See some of you at Castle Combe on the 1st April, perhaps?

Regards
Jon

There is a Scotland meet in planning! But I would be interested in a 'Northern' meet somewhere around Cumbria/Borders sort of area!
Looked at Chatswoth, would be good for me! Quick jaunt down the M6!! Just so long as I don't get sidelined becasue of my car!!!

12.30 at chatsworth, 26th may! I'll be there!!!

Gassing was OK though, so God knows what happened there??

Great Piccies, and I will definitley be up for a trip to the Northerners. Doesn't it snow up there in May though, Nubbin?

Ted, I can only echo everyone else's comments and being new to the TVR fraternity it was great to see so many examples in one place, the few people i spoke to seemed really friendly and enthusiastic about there TVR's.
Well done to all involved

Also passed a great looking black Cerbera on the M25 car park, and watched with great amusement as a bike did a wheelie passed a Porsche boxster on the inside lane near the City airport.
