I happened to check the new TVR website today and although nothing has changed, I noticed "TVR Motors Company Ltd" and wondered if there was anything going on at Companies House in relation to this limited company name.

Date of Incorporation: 06/08/2010

Previous Names:
Date of change - 13/08/2010
Previous Name - XYZ MOTORS COMPANY LIMITED (looks like XYZ has gone through a few rebrands: http://wck2.companieshouse.gov.uk/9b2c7477763e2c67... )

Interesting that they filed a change of name on the Friday just gone. Perhaps we're not long off an update...

Having just read the TVRCC Sprint magazine article on the 2008 Sagaris fitted with an LS7 engine.

The owner was "Disappointed" with the S6 performance apparently!!!

I think it will sell like hot cakes if they do it!!

Same reason as the "garden party" launching the Sag Mk2 a year or so ago? PR fluff? Perhaps only one man knows... my breath is baited

TVR MOTORS COMPANY!! With the S added to the end of motor it sounds like the Ruskie has had a hand in it. Tis the same on the web site too. Oh dear, I sense more Orgasmic Living Why doesn't he p!ss off and stop messing with this once great car company?

I expect there's some rule/regulation that you can't reuse the name of a company which went into administration/liquidation so "TVR MOTOR COMPANY LIMITED" isn't an option.

I know relatively little about such things so happy to stand corrected...

You're correct, unless you either want to be associated with a bankrupt company or (as I understand it) take on the outstanding liabilities of said company.
