5 year warranty is pretty amazing.

Does that cover ancillaries failure (oil/water pump) and subsequent engine destruction?
with all the components installed if that engine sts itself the book stays with me its has simple has that, what it wont cover is over revving on down shifts over heating for long periods meaning hole in the radiator, fan switch failing etc

All MBE systems have very good logging data

Does the engine upgrade address the alleged head issues of oil starvation and component alignment?

there's an echo in here wink

question for dom though, how will the gearbox on an 02 tam cope with the increased twist?

T5/T55 have had no issues what’s so ever with our 4.3ltr, gear boxes will cope with road and semi slick tyres using our “SuperSports” package

This is great.

Now I would like to see some articles on other companies in the TVR business - either engine builders or aftermarket 'keeping cars on the road' providers (chassis, body parts, glass for rare cars?)
I agree yes

There are a lot of small British companies producing inovative products and companies producing rare replacement parts to keep our cars on the road. A lot of these companies probably do not make a lot of money and are mainly driven by their pasion for TVRs. It would be great to see regular features on companies in the TVR business.

how does that normally goes, say you want that 4.5 option.
can you bring the complete riding or engine failure car in, and pick it up when ready or is it only possible to bring the engine only and have to do a lot of work yourself.

TVR Power provide a drive in drive out service for their upgrades so you take your car in they do the alteration/upgrade and you drive away.
Dom and his team are excellent, great service and always willing to offer advice and help.

I'm looking at this with more expectancy than TVRs latest news. I would rather this engine in 'my' TVR than an American V8. 450bhp and a 5 year warranty? That's fantastic.

Question - have we not seen similar figures with some cars TVR Powers 4.3 Speed 6 with a little more work? I wonder what the FULL potential of the 4.5 will be?

Question (probably asked before, sorry) - Is this the (safe) limit of the bore/stroke?

Stroker packages are so much safer and easier to keep reliable apposed to leaning on a motor to the max.

ah, I saw also the answers on your nice website biggrin
its now under favorits for you never know.
thnx, I follow with interest.
not that I have a TVR on the moment, but it is also possible (I live in the Netherlands) to say, buy a good looking T350c in the UK then bring it to your shop to give it the updates, then get it to NL. (when your in the market for such car)
On the moment still with my beloved Hartge though...and a long shopping list for new cars to try, but I can take only one pfff difficult when the moment arive's to buy another biggrin
TVR is still in my heart (owned 2 in the past, a V8S and a Griffith 4.3 Big valve) the speed six could just get that extra bit to make that interesting too this way.
But also some other cars on the list like a special made Elise/Exige wider and longer wheelbase and LS3....mmm.
anyway, Good work Dom.

I'm going to need a bigger garage. Perhaps a double-decker garage.

I agree with the above poster on the engine in the forthcoming new TVR. Imagaine a Sagaris/Tuscan 2 with this engine in them. The reviews would be sensational.

Totally agree

Dom
TVR Network.co.uk?

I haven't had a look on there for a while, but I'd have thought that is where you would find all that sort of info?
Can we avoid talking about this network on here as the thread will hve to get closed I am sure! Suggest you raise as a separate thread should you really want to debate its representation of the UKs TVR services.

Damn I was just thinking the same! Technically you should be able to import one as they have never been sold here and they are an unusual shape!

Same criteria for allowing the new VW Scirocco to be imported.

Dom - top work on the speed 6 and especially the warranty.

Now, how about the AJP8 options?
