I'm surprised he did not think the TVR was better, after all they must be easier to 'clock' than the Jag !

QW is a prat - the only ones to listen to IMO are Tiff and Clarkson and as much as they love Porkers and Ferraris respectivley they still love TVR's. Why?? Cos they are proper blokes not some thinning greasy worm who loves the sound of his own voice.QW is but one step away from Lloyd Grossman in my book.

Interestingly (or not) Quentin Willson spells his surname with an extra 'L' but Loyd Grossman spells his christian name with one 'L' less than standard.

I believe QW is a fan of big barge type cars such as Merc S-classes and Jag XJ's.

Well, lets face it, anyone who would choose between a Jaguar XKR and a TVR is better off with the Jag anyway. And anyone who buys their car purely on the say so of a Celeb is a anyways, so it really is no great loss.. Keep TVR sales to the enthusiast and we will all still enjoy our toys

I did enjoy that bit on speed cameras though.

Did anyone tape it? As they listed the whereabouts of all speed traps, and I wouldn't mind having a copy of it. Just incase I'm doing 2 mph over the speed limit in these hot spots......

And yes, he is a semi evolved knuckle scraper for saying never to buy a TVR

Also, Lexus I believe ... funny how he always manages to pick up the one owner, FSH minter one for about £5000 less than anyone else ...

In a way I am pleased he recommended the Jag. If that tosser was ever to be the type of bloke to go for TVR's then I might end up changing marque's myself - and GOD FORBID THAT EVER HAPPENING!

Count Quentula up to his old tricks again eh?

I remember him testing a used Lexus 400 once. He basically said " Ok so it doesn't corner very well and the brakes are wooden and the ride isn't red hot, but it's reliable and its got a Lexus badge on it so buy it!"
In my mind thats one step away from those tests on Drivel involving the general public when the silly bint making the final choice says " oooh I don't want the xyz car 'cos I don't like the colour" despite the fact that it's cleary the best car and then they drive off smugly in a Datsun Insult 'cos it's the only one that had a cup holder big enough to take a McFlurry pot.

Ted, we need a Pistonheads programme on SKY!

I'm quite pleased they are back, whilst a bit of a knob I do like the way QW will harp on about speedcameras, where to get cheap cars etc. Don't forget he was one of the early champions of buying abroad, UK prices are very high etc, whilst I do not agree with many of the cars he likes I do value some of the common sense he fronts on the TV when it comes to other motoring issues. If only he'd have a wash, he looks so grubby.

Don't forget he is (or was) a dealer so he is going to encourage people to buy a Jag over a TVR, chances are the dealer will make more on the Jag as it might not be back every five mins when something else falls off :-)

I'll get my coat.

well he does come accross like a greasy uncle fester doesn't he!! and has no respect for TVR's and you can expect comments about reliablity from him when he is always looking in the bargain bin!! he will come up with a doggy car with problems. therefor the attitude

I guess he won't like a new lexus then

He's got some good ideas, but he isn't a true car enthusiast, more a trader - deals with cars to make/save money rather than out of a real passion for them. Fair enough I suppose. I would add though if reliability is an issue he should have suggested the guy buy a corrolla instead

The Cars got nothing to do with his persona but twat is a good choice of words to Q.

As for Tvr owners they are a varied breed and all different, Q is a one of thank god!
