Northbound on the A34 last night about 17:00 Newbury area. Nice 'burgandy' coloured Chimaera, looked really good from the southbound carriageway.

I would have waved but was in the company car so no real point - actually you probably saw me - Silver Vectra SRi!!

Blimey, it's spreading! Jon has a silver Chimaera with a twin lamp conversion but it's based near Bristol.

If anyone wants to see what the conversion looks like, I've just uploaded some piccies taken last night in Cheddar Gorge. Check out Jon's Chimaera under the members page at http://go.to/tvrbristol

I had the twin lamp conversion done on my Chimaera.
I think its the one used to advertise the conversion on the tvrbodyshop.co.uk website (Ruby red Chimaera 500)
Is that legal? I wasn't asked for permission. Could I claim any money? Mind you, they've blanked out the no. plate which is fair enough.
Nearly forgot! The new lights are 100% better and I think the front end looks better too.

Jon, was your Silver 500 intended to have a roll bar and a fancy wooden steering wheel ? Anything else you want to declare ?....

Duncan - I see your point! But you can't make a Chim into a Tuscan so why try? A cage should be any serious
speed freaks first extra. Wheel is growing on me.

How's the wedge going - start ok now?

I'm stuck in the Sahara with no TVR to play with.
Racing on 27th though.....

Ouch !

Yes thanks, it starts just fine now.

Believe it or not, it also idles as well! Peninsula found a pinhole in the tubing between the plenum chamber and the airflow meter which seems to have been causing havoc. All the time I've had my SEAC, it has never idled. It's now almost civilised to drive, but still sounds great.
