British-built Griffith Series 200 sports cars were featured in a small, three-vehicle display booth next to the larger Datsun (Nissan) exhibit. Both were located on the lower level of McCormick Place East. In the foreground, an exposed chassis and power train show off the Ford 289 cubic inch V-8 and all synchromesh, four-speed manual gearbox that were installed at the Syosset, New York plant prior to sale in North America. In the middle of the display is a Griffith Series 200 painted in a non-standard plaid-patterned scheme.

In the foreground of the TVR display space is a medium green Vixen 2500 sport coupe, with a purple Vixen 2500 directly behind it. The small sign on the right, for the Squire SS100, refers to the older-style white car behind the TVRs. On the far right is a deep red Saab 2-door station wagon. Introduced for 1972, the Vixen 2500 was built in Great Britain, and used a 2.5-liter inline 6-cylinder engine. TVR cars were distributed by Competition Motors, on South Stony Island Avenue in Chicago.

For bad weather, fit the newer pattern Goodrich mud terrains, they're fantastic.

Hi Pete In deep virgin snow on my 135 horse disco there is practically no wheelspin!
Cheers for the tip My only issue is mine is on the L322 vouge wheels 20" with 255 rubber all round.
I will see if we first get any snow and second see what these silly big wheels do. If there rubbish i will try and pick up a standard set of 18" for it.
