Thanks, although it was quite a shock to have to actually pay for VED this afternoon!

Must now change my username and profile picture.

Hard to believe it was the last weekend in September!! The noise of S6 and V8 off the old town walls was fantastic!!

Love the look of that car, puts's me in mind of the sort of adverts you'd see in Road and Track magazine, for U.S sports car's in the 70's smokin

Stunning!

love the username, too. A title of what is believed to be the very first 'Rock and Roll' track by Jackie Brenston and his Delta Cats! Still sounds great...

Cheers, there's even an emotional attachment,
When I was a wee lad around 4 years old my dad had a 1967-8 Jag S type, we went everywhere in it like royalty and I was hooked,, it was a very very similar colour to this which is simply Ford Paris Blue, I always said I'd have a car my dad would really want, I found this car with a headlight cowling missing, oil leaking out of everywhere, looking a bit sad and unloved, unbelievable it thought!!
I didn't care about any of that, the colour for the first time in my life since a kid reminded me of the car that showed me what it's all about, and I had to buy it hehe
to own a Tvr is one thing, to own one that my father would have approved of the colour let alone its prowess kind of makes it perfect.
5 years into ownership I'm slowly trying to make the bits you don't see work as good as it looks, slowly she's getting there wink
All Tvr's look good in any colour just as yours does UKKID smile

x works

See you there - car is on its trailer ready to go. I will look out for you.

Its first come first served for pit garages, so if you are down there early please grab a couple of extras, for myself (Anthony Bristow), Martin Clare, Trevor (cannot remember his surname) and Mat Smith, of Mat Smith Sports Cars fame. He's bringing his S, as they wouldn't allow his DTEC Championship winning Chimaera as it's not road legal - no handbrake.

I too am leaving my handbrake at home - she did a TVRCC track day at Cadwell with me aboit three years ago and declared she had worn the wrong coloured trousers, whistle
