I've had the Speed 12 conversion completed on my car.

ABSOLUTELY amazing - especially when combined with "spider" wheels.

Pics under my/car profile - also at my web page:

My advice: GET IT DONE - NOW.

Greg,

Lovely car – those 'Afterburnbers' look good at the back – did you fit them yourself?

Also, how can you get away with the reg on the Sprite – or are the rules on the Rock different?

Had the afterburners done at the same time as the front end -

Decided they would look better colour coded -

Amazing spray / bodyshop on the island - PANELCRAFT. Top chaps. Top job.

The rock is very strange / different on all levels....so the reg is no problem...no MOT's to worry about here either.

Hence the general lack of cats & silencers on the Cerby.....a TAD loud!

Can't these people stop ballsing up the looks of great cars - Chimera, griff and Original round light on Cerbera suit the cars and should not be changed. The Tuscan was styled to have the 'French In'
light so look right the rest - forget it..............

I was completely against mods for the classic style Cerby - didn't even like the spider wheels.

However during the last 12 months I think the original lights / wheels have started to look extremely dated (IMO) - Hence the mods to my car.

I also had a Griff500 previously and agree that the current lights mods do not suit the shape.

Just my two penny-worth!

- mind your own business.

There are no 2 TVR's the same, and these conversions do modernise the look of the Chim/Cerb. Not sure myself about the Griff, but if others like it then thats their choice, not yours. And its Chimaera BTW.

Frankly this new Zertec conversion is MUCH more successful than the factory Tuscan implementation of 3 lights, IMHO. There's no reason why these cars have to look like sixties refugees (those are mini headlights aren't they?), with these conversions the cars are brought bang up to date.

I get mine done next month.

Apache - just what colour is your Griff? Apache Pearl? Where's that from then? Looks good - check my thread (www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?f=8&h=&t=9093), you'll see I'm looking for something similar myself.

I don't want it yet, but I fancy a Cerby when I get rid of the Chim (only had that 3 months - first TVR and loving it!!) so probably looking in 18 - 24 months.

Planning ahead, but it pays to keep your eyes on nice cars!!! Put my email addy in your address book for when you fancy a change!!

phil, I think it's a vauxhall colour as applied to Corsa's...........the shame of it all, I saw a chimera in the same which really looked good and there was a Griff at last years Duxford with gold wheels/badges and white/blue interior which looked terrible (sorry to the owner if they read this)I think the full black hide and dark wheels suit the colour well

Thanks. Mine has a biscuit/magnolia interior, should go a bit better than blue!
