Who fancies a meetup on Sun 26th May? I was thinking somewhere like the last one that took place in Virgina Water, Surrey...say 11am & grab some food in the local pub.

Note for anyone in the surbiton/epsom/kingston massive: we can meetup beforehand in convoy in hart's boatyard again (hopefully there will be another marathon we can disrupt! )

Thoughts?

Neil.

Sounds like fun, also nice roads down there.

I reckon I am up for it as I missed the last one.

Perhaps one to stick in the Events section?

Hi Neil,

Just noticed that it's F1 Monaco on Sunday... I have to confess to being a long term F1 fan.

Race finishes around three, so maybe a later hookup with whoever is out there?

I thought us F1 fans were supposed to be boycotting the GP coverage after Ferraris farce two weeks ago.

Hi MikeE,

Hmmm, not sure that a boycott will help, doesn't cause any pain really...

Anyway, (flamesuit on again), I love F1, wont miss a race if I can help it, AND, I sort of understand Ferraris position although I dont like what they did... (See Thread in General Gassing - "Ferrari Update")

EDIT: "In the News" Forum...

I would have been up for that too, but Monaco being my favourite GP circuit, no can do. Last Sunday would have been perfect......

As q405mb say, if anything later happening, yeah maybe. But do have a way to come (Herts).

Yes, what Ferrari did was unforgiveable. But it sure as hell aint gonna stop me watching F1. Cutting off nose to spite face 'n' all. But I certainly understand the idea.

I've gotta say that it being the spectacle that is Monaco on Sunday I would be up for anything after the GP no worries, but wouldnt be able to make it during the race.

Or nearer 1pm ..... I didn't realise that F1 actually involved any 'racing' these days

I'm up for it.

Especially if I can have a ride in your motor!

Just watch the qualies. The race is a joke! F1 cars on roads so narrow that they have to do a 3 point turn roung the hairpin..... Better to have go carts on that track
