Got home yesterday after a trip out in the beast, only to find two plats of bird crap on the bonnet. So, quickly ran in to get warm water to dissolve the sh*tting stuff off.
But it seems to have left a smear in the laquer.

What is the best thing to use to get this smear out chaps?? Please tell me it will come out...

It will come out, fret not.

A good polish, something like super resin polish should get it out, failing that a very very light paint restorer will bring it back up to scratch.

Chuck her, I say. If she can't be bothered to find the public conveniences, she's not good enough for you

Bird crap really is horrible stuff - eats away like acid.

Especially when something that looks like it came out of an Eagle hits yer bonnet.

Get it off, on an old Fiesta I had once (D reg) the osprey or raven or whatever it was, crapped on the front wing,. I left it and eventually it rotted the wing, leaving a big hole – I kid you not.

I don't mind girls throwing their underwear at my car, but I think I'd be upset too if they weren't clean!

Nice one guys, thanks.

Matt, I have tried super resin polish, t-cut, even tar remover(lightly) to get rid of the smear. But no Joy...

Any ideas......?

If that lot didn't work I'd take it to an expert before the paint gets damaged further

A large cat to get rid of any birds? I used to have the problem at my parent's house - the trusty black widow with 9mm lead ballbearings removes the probelm (no birds round there fore years aftrewards)

Bitch must have had a curry. A girlfriends mum did that on my bonnet once, never did her again.
