Because the dealers were offering giveaway deals towards the end of the production life!! Competition with the MGB was ferocious.

My list would be:

1. TR6
2. Dolomite Sprint
3. Stag
4. 2500 TC saloon with overdrive
5. Mayflower saloon (!!)
6. GT6 Mk 3 - because it looked like its daddy was an "E"-Type
