It's mine now!
I first looked at this car in 2011, but it had a bit of rust and wasn't running very well so I bought another.
A different venture, yacht, meant I sold that car hit I missed the TR so much that at the end of 2012 I looked for another.
jla227n had been repaired and reprinted, and was for sale in Bath.
I bought it in December 2012, drove it home in 2c temperature 100miles home on very old tyres.......
In the last year I've rebuilt the PI system which now performs perfectly, fitted four pot front braks, much better from high speed, and rebuilt the interior.
I love this car!
The tuned engine and LSD make it a great fun car to drive, the pi system now works faultlessly and the new braking is good too.
I'm going to uprate the hubs, front and rear, and also have on order cv jointed half shafts.
Once these are on I shall do a few track days :-)
So the car is in good hands and being enjoyed !
