Hi People,
Having owned my first TVR for 14 months, and having it been off the road for seven months so far...
Am at disbelief of the quality of service granted to me and have been recommended to a company called "TR Spares" (Nr Bridgwater) in Somerset, run by a chap called Neil Revington. I have received one glowing recommendation so thought would ask about and see if any of you good people knows of him and (or) the standard of service ??
Thanks y'all - Swill

They are fantastic and Neil is very helpful.

However when I used them they were only supplying for Triumph TR cars-as the name suggests. Is it for your TVR or do you have a triumph as well?

Hi Greenisbest
Thanks for your response, and thanks for the link also.
Yes it's for my TVR, only somebody told me that he works on quite a few of them so I thought I would sound it out.
I don't have a Triumph though, not since my early driving years when I had a Dolomite Sprint.
Nice Cerby by the way.

who's been trying to get you spares ?

someone in SW I guess ?

without saying (obviously) you could hint....

worth giving Topcats a call if you're trouble.

Had a Triumph Spitfire and a TR4A in my youff.

Do you provide PL & EL insurance?

Hi guydw!

It's not actual spares i'm after, just reassurance that TVR ownership doesn't have to be as disappointing as my first year has been. I can't believe the level of service i've received from my local dealer, having received three months of yarns which contradict each other from one moment to the next.... being told each time I ring "next week for sure" (which has now been the same line used since July!).. I'm looking for a garage who can put my mind at rest that I need not sell my Griff the moment it's back on the road (and replace it with something German), plus assure me that my car doesn't have to simply "vanish" for months at a time for what i'm told is a two day job..
Thanks for your reply though

Swill, get yourself down to the Waterloo Cross pub next Wednesday at about 07.30pm.

There's a whole load of PHers and Tiv owners meeting to discuss our forthcoming trip to Le Mans, but no doubt other things will be discussed and you can meet some like minded people for an informal social.

Jct 27 M5 half a mile up towards Wellington.

I know you'd be very welcome.
