You might try a chap called Chris Witor. His main business is as the UK retailer for SuperFlex bushes, but IIRC he has an interest in the 2000/2500s. Don't know his number I'm afraid.

I have a pile of Stag Halfshafts in my Garage near High Wycombe Bucks. I guess that they are the same sliding spline type with two UJ's. I currently have a dead 2000 diff on my stag so I know they fit at that end..

What's wrong with yours.

On the Stag their are two different type of UJ on driveshafts. Early shafts had a piened in UJ cap which is non serviceable. Later shafts have circlips that hold the UJ caps in place and fit into groves at the outer edge of the yoke.

If yours are piened in and have been dismantled I am not sure how you would hold the cap in place upon reassembly. If you have a circlip missing and you can see a grove in the outer edge of the yoke then a motor factor should be able to provide you with either the circlip of the complete uj repair kit which will include circlips.

Is it the inner / outer shaft you need both sides etc.

Cheers

Stag halfshafts will fit every 2000/2500 except for the mk2 saloons, which have a wider rear track.

I think it'd only the outer part of the halfshaft that's longer, though, so you might be able to mix and match.
