Hi PH,

My late father had two red Triupmhs in the 70's, a TR4 & TR4A.

The TR4 is SORN, the TR4A is shown as taxed.

If the opportunity for sale arises, I'd like to be considered. Here's the registrations:

TR4: FMX401B
TR4A: 206GXT

If anyone knows either car, could they let me know? Thanks..

I think you're onto a very long shot, but try posting on the TR Register message board.
http://www.tr-register.co.uk/forums/

Not sure if as a non-member you can post, but if not, 'Contact' the TRR: http://www.tr-register.co.uk/contact

Thanks - I messaged the club and they've found the owner of the TR4 A. They said they'd pass my contact info on.

Wow! Bingo! The TRR is most helpful and well organised.
Hope the owner gets back to you, but TR4s are keepers these days.

Why not join up and keep a look out for another one?

So I've not heard a response from the owner via the Register.

I note the TR4A's MOT expired last year.

I wonder whether anyone has further info on 206GXT (red).

Why not register on the forum (no charge) and ask on the TR4 forum. I use the TR6 forum to post problems and for advice, but I am not a member of the register

You will have to consent to some stringent Terms & Conditions, which were imposed without adequate discussion late last year, and have led to many long time TRRists jumping ship. But if you are just looking for your dad's old car, maybe that won't worry you.
