How avalable are replacement screens? a breif look at flea bay didnt come up with any.
how much is it going to sting me for?
and how easy are they to replace?

answers on the back of a post card, or post on here,

The Spitfire GraveYard should have what you need

I wouldn't pay more than £25 quid for a screen. As Phil says, the spitfire gravayard, quillers or Jigsaw. Canleys as well I suppose.

Thanks, anything I should know about fitting, or is it as Haynes cryptically describe?

Beware with what you get from the Spitfire Graveyard and the like. Visit the place yourself if you can and pick the best (ie. least scratched) one you can find in the stack.

If you still have your plastic 'chrome' surround, fit that on the rubber before mounting the windscreen. You'll never get it on afterwards.

Thanks for your replies, I contacted my insurance, they do FREE replacements for my car, (I didn’t think that kind of service was offered on a classic policy) so I am getting a new screen I hope. The insurance company assure me it won’t affect my premium.
